Man United 0 - Liverpool Fc 3

Gerrard scored 2. Suarez 1

Liverpool could have had more Gerrard missed a penalty, other chances weren't taken.
All in all, it was an emphatic win by Liverpool, destroyed Man Utd from the first minute...

Title race is on... InshAllah

man utd was simple washed away ..... it has been a really poor season for them under moyes.

but on the other hand, Rodgers has done an excelent job ...... brought the best out of suarez and sturridge, skrtl has been terrific ... rodgers has given him a rebirth ...... henderson and allen has got a new belief back ....... coutinho has been terrificto watch ...... and the youngsters ......... sterling and flanagan has been excellent .......... and lucas, johnson, agger, sakho, has been professional ........ and we missed our star player from last season enrique most of the season.

Default Premier League: Liverpool ready to climb back on their perch

Premier League: Liverpool ready to climb back on their perch

Report by Phil McNulty Chief football writer, BBC Sport

Brendan Rodgers walked into Liverpool's media lounge and jokingly acclaimed their place at the top of the Premier League table after their 1-0 opening-day win over Stoke City.

It was a light-hearted moment after that early kick-off in August - Stoke's Jon Walters even missed a late penalty and the opportunity to claim a point - and the remark drew laughter from those in attendance, as well as Rodgers himself.

No-one is laughing any more.

Robbie Savage: How flexible Rodgers has put Liverpool on top

In his regular BBC Sport tactics column, Robbie Savage looks at Liverpool's convincing win over Tottenham that sent them to the top of the Premier League.

The Reds were helped by a shambolic display by Spurs at Anfield, but Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers still got his tactics spot on, again.

What was the best piece of transfer business by Brendan Rogers ???
It proved to be loaning out Fabio Borini to SunderBans. Borini's goal ensured Chelsea lost to Sunderland and Within a space of three days SunderBans have done another huge favor for Liverpool. Now its in Red's own hand to finish the job.
You will Never Walk Alone.

All this talk about winning a title for Gerrard. It would be great to see Liverpool win the league. I think the odds were 20/1 for Liverpool to win the title at the beginning of the season.

What the heck was that? How do you give up 3 goals in 10 minute to the worst team in the league. They don't deserve the title.

Crystal Palace aren't no way near the worst team in the league lol. They have been great towards the back end of the season under Tony Pulis. Ince, Puncheon and Bolasi has been great for Palace in attack and Jedinak have been fantastic in killing off the oppositions momentum in defence through intercepts and tackles. Palace have kept Chelsea scoreless at Stamford Bridge so it goes to show the team's potential. However i agree that match was Liverpool's to win and the way they drew is shocking. Suarez was so emotional at the end of the match.

Woha? Worst team in the league? You need to folloe bpl more closely I guess.

Anyway, Liverpool was never gonna win it and they won't. It was Man City since day 1

No team for me has been a standout to win the league. City were in the boxseat during the beginning of the season but Liverpool did make a late charge for the title. Chelsea were also in the boxseat during a lot of the season as well. However i think if Aguero had played throughout the whole season then Man City would have won the title weeks ago.

I don't watch Premier League that much. Just occasional weekend games and big matches. But regardless giving up 3 goals in 10 minute was just embarrasing to watch. Ok so CP is not the worst but still its not like they have some high powered offense. I was rooting for Liverpool. Just wanted to see someone other than man city or man u to win the title.
