Correct. And there is a board meeting on 8th or 9th. Most likely the decision will be overturned. The point has been made by the board that who is the boss. I am not sure about the NOC yet. BD team needs him and Papon knows that.

I am not sure about the teasing case. It is a major trump card. All speculations.

Nope. He is not going to WI, Papon confirmed it on TV yesterday. He is most likely playing in the home series against Zimbabwe.

He obviously strengthens the team, but he isn't needed for success.

Btw, why are we playing in the Asian games when India and Pak are skipping? We should just send our u-19 team to SK.

^Last time we have sent our A team there . Shabbir played really well that time. I also don't understand why we are sending our national team this time.

We need some wins. Its ok if its in the Asian Games. Winning will boost our confidence. Losing can become a habbit and we really need to get out of it.

Shakib opens, scores 44

Sports Reporter

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan scored a 34-ball 44 for Bangladesh Under-19 on the second day of the two-day practice match against Bangladesh A at the Sher-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur yesterday.

The left-hander, who is participating in a practice match for the first time since he was suspended in July, also took a wicket for 14 runs.

Meanwhile, Liton Kumar scored a century for Bangladesh A. The top-order batsman hammered 14 fours and two sixes in his 149-ball 103. Marshall Ayub, who batted at three, scored 62 while wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan remained unbeaten on 67. Captain Naeem Islam was also unbeaten on 39. Bangladesh A finished on 332 for 4 in 90 overs.

Funny!
He should have played against the U-19s. Stupid BCB!
U-19 players need to play against good bowlers.

I think that was in 2nd innings.

He came to bat at 4 in the first innings and scored 11.

I think the selectors wanted him to bowl at the A-team batsmen since they have a series coming up. Also if he was on the other team it would've been too much of a mismatch. LKD seems promising. Hope him, Shadman and Sohan perform in the series against Zimbabwe so we stop picking guys like Imrul and Shamsur again and again.

Gazi also bowled on behalf of U/19. Looks like A-teamers had a good exercise against spin bowling.

I hope Shakib comes back stronger than ever and proves his worth once more to those tyrants that they never dare to ill-treat him again.

Shakibre baad dibena... Shakibs price is a steal and for KKR, the Narine-Shakib combo works really well. Add to that the fanbase he brings to KKR.

Shakib tops the health and fitness check up... "It was learnt that ace all-rounder Sakib al Hasan, who spent most of his time off the field for the last four months due to suspension, was among the players who appeared fitter"
source: http://newagebd.net/56944/tigers-tol....FpOkJWcM.dpbs

And all these players who are playing should have been more fit!! When are they going to conduct management fitness test for BCB?
