Well, he had the choice between getting in shape or retirement. So, no surprise there. Easily history's laziest international cricketer once thought of as a serious prospect. Thanks for the memories.

What a waste of God-given talent. Read CI's match report of his debut Test innings against a full strength Engerland. Him as a coach scares me but I wish him the best.

29 is the retirement age of bd cricketers. Except for shakib no one else will keep their form beyond that age

I agree with Zee, the bandanna was endearing. I think many of us think the earlier generation of Bangladeshi cricketers were more patriotic because of gestures like wearing the national flag as a bandanna. It's hard to imagine the current crop, with the exception of someone like Bijoy, to wear the flag with such pride.

Mushy "hopefully" will.

Aftab was a very sharp & acrobatic fielder, the same guy due to giving up working hard was fielding like Razzaq during BPL for DG, I laughed hard.
Wonder the reason behind his lack of interest.

razzak and mash are already breaking ground in this area, hopefully most of the current crop are looking to play into their mid 30s.

I was being facetious, not sure if you were being sarcastic as well. I know my INTUITION failed me many times in the past, but still I rely strongly on it. I say this, because I know sarcasm can be contradictory to your online personae that I know you so well of. OF course if you are being mouthpiece for a different philosopher, than it's a moot point.

Cheers. Have a nice day.

I can already imagine his first lecture to the boys in his camp starts with saying something like "kirket khela khubi koshter...."
