I wonder what are the exact words Ramiz Raza used or what exactly he said that caused such anger. If i remember correctly, he just mentioned how it takes a long time to get from point A to point B in Dhaka, he probably didn't mean to say anything offensive.

I have been watching this programme everyday since the world cup started and I'm really impressed with his cricketing knowledge. The way he analayse the game I can say he's better then all of our so called ex-cricketer.

Yeah ofcourse

The difference between these ex-cricketers and Ashraful is that Ashraful has played far more international cricket than all of them and to add has played around the world and in different leagues. The issue with our ex-cricketers is that they give a lot opinion based on what they heard from others rather than having done similar things themselves. The reason why our development has been so slow is because we don't have too many experienced cricketers nurturing the future.

I was surprised that Windies dropped Roach for Benn. pak were clearly struggling against pace and Windies allowed their players to settle in by playing Benn and pushing the fielding back. When you have your foot on the throat, why not go for the kill? I think that was inexperience showed by Holder and reminded me of Bangladesh's tactics.

How did Ryan McClaren not make the SA squad? Baffling decision considering he's been their highest wicket taker and can contribute with the bat.

Do we need a separate thread for the MOWKA game?

Shoaib Akhtar had some nice things to say about BD on Indian media. He gave fair assessment and I think his a quite good anaylst. Pretty funny at times, especially when he talks about Pakistan lol

We have a general thread for CWC 2015 and people are opening too many similar threads. Why not discuss in one. This should have been made sticky before

Gotta feel for DonalC as Ireland exits the world on what was the final match of the group stage. It's not fair for Irish Cricket that Promising Irish Players end up playing for England(and England still can't make it past knockout stages ). I would think that with a better bowling lineup Ireland probably would have made a better run. still, being 9th from an associate country is not a bad thing. They should be really proud of themselves for what they have accomplished given such limited resources(Defeated West Indies)
