And according to your logic, then the wrong decision for a weaker team (us) would matter to us, no?

Anyway, enjoy your win (so sad that despite being the champion from the last world cup and no. 2 odi team with strong batting line up, you still win it with umpire's help against a weaker team) while it lasts.

and a petty match (11 vs 14) demanded a petty thread.
I should ask you to quit playing cricket in protest because it is always going to be 11 v/s 14 for as long as your team plays.

Advice: Quit ICC

I am ashamed that cricket has been overtaken by an agent of BCCI in the name of ICC.

Mashrafe should have said and given a big send off to ICC and walked off the field and not play this match. I mean it. If Ranatunga could protest why didn't we protest this onslaught of favouritism? All because ICC profits by keeping India in the tournament and the WC in 2007 was a bad one for it's profits?

Forget sports, this should be taken as a criminal action because this is corruption at the highest level. The whole world is watching India, you should be ashamed, if I was an Indian this would be my darkest hour. Thank god I am not.
Yes, somewhat I agree with you. What surprises me is that whatever happened was all set-up. What even more surprises me that a free country like Bangladesh's Cricket board didn't know about this also could not stop this. Is this because india is more money giver to International Cricket council? There should be a law of International Cricket Council that will make all countries pay the council same amount of money. In that way these type of cheap cheating will occur very very less.

Bro emotions are high now. So it's better not to discuss it further. You guys won and so all the best luck in SF against either Aus/Pak. Our discussions won't change anything.

Keep dreaming, bro.

We are neither QUITTER nor CHEATER. Read our history, bruh.

We shall and we will shine very soon. Unlike our neighboring country, we will do it without bribing, scolding, threatening icc others. MMW.

Advice: You should be ashamed of yourself and Quit ICC immediately.

Regardless of the wrong decision in the match, we didn't play well today. We were good till the 30th over and that's all about it. 30/100 overs hence we were in the game 30% in this match. Our batting sucked today and no one decided to play a long innings. Tell me one thing, how many of them had a SR of 100+ chasing a score of 300+.

Worse things happened -

Boundary line misfield - easy boundary allowed.
Multiple overthrows, including one where Mushfiqur was lazy.
Less fielders in the inner circle - no ball called.
Soumya-Imrul bad calling - results in a run out.

No discussions?

This is moral victory for us and should hold us great going ahead in future. Starting from the premise that India paid the umpires let us break it down.

1. Umpires gave that a no ball. So, they must be assured of payment or incentive beforehand.

2. This incentive was in place much before the WC began.

3. But against Pak, SA and WI no decision seemed that atrocious.

So, did Eendia pay Olim Bhai and Ian just for the BD game because they were very afraid? So, Eendia is more afraid of us than Pak, SA and WI.

/s.

Do we see the stupidity of our reaction?

It was given within seconds. Aleem Dar didn't even have time to see whether it's going to the fielder.

Go to 4:54 and see how fast Aleem Dar's hand comes up. No doubt it's a very poor decision.

I do think Rohit did benefit from bad decision. Imrul did benefit from bad decision as well. Raina's was a good call actually unless you are somehow questioning the technology behind it. Mahmadullah's was a correct decision as well. At the end of the day BD would have done whole lot better if they had fielded better.

People that are accusing ICC and BCCI as corrupt should go back to 1999 world cup. ICC headed by Dalmiya was accused of fixing the Bangladesh Pakistan game to make very strong Pakistan lose to rank outsiders to ensure Bangladesh gets the test status. Either accept that Bangladesh rigged its way to test status with the help of BCCI and ICC or accept that you cannot be reading too much into bad decision. Can't have it both ways where you accuse ICC/BCCI of being corrupt only when you are receiving bad decision but claim everything is fair when you benefit.
