Exactly my feeling... now all our Mauka friends will hopefully take a chill pill and come back to earth.

I watched both of the semi-finals. While it was well worth staying all night and watch the 1st semi-final.... this one is pretty much one-sided and now I regret staying all night.

From the beginning of the WC, it was clear that there was only two super - teams and some good teams. And at the end both of the super teams went to the final. I knew India will have hard time competing against AUS and NZL, but I didn't expect this kind of performance from them,.. they indeed looked like a pretender than a real contender against AUS.

VELLORE: A cricket crazy youth in Tamil Nadu cut his tongue on Thursday seeking the 'intervention of gods' to make India win the World Cup semifinal match against Australia.

Sudhakar of Ponneri in Vellore district, who closely follows cricket, was sad after Australia amassed 328 runs batting first against India in the semifinal.

Desperation drove the youth to act in a reckless manner and he cut his tongue with a knife at his residence, the Jolarpet police said.

On his hearing Sudhakar's cries, his relatives and neighbours came to his rescue. They rushed him to Adukkamparai government general hospital.

The police said they had not registered a case as there was no complaint.

Yawn. That was boring. Hopefully the final will be much more exciting and NZ will win the biggest match in their history.

^^What the hell!! Indian Cricket is really brainwashing the population. This is beyond fascination. Intervention of gods??? Come on this is Earth we're living in, the only intervention for India's win would have to be the capital U word.

Yay, Australia won crushed India!
Thank you, Australia.

-----------------------------------------------
BD vs IN
193/10 vs 302/6
India won by 109 runs
(with umpire's help )

AUS vs IN
328/7 vs 233/10
Australia won by 95 runs Poor India, couldn't get any help from the umpires today.

Take that, India.
Adios, India.

While you bloat, let me take the opportunity to gloat over the Australia's win India's loss.

Forget WI, even ZIM, BD, or other associate teams (pretty much any jodhu, modhu, kodhu) would've won the WC'15 if they stayed in Australia for 4 months and played matches with AUSSIES.

Indian fans in India were burning Kohli's picture and had Anushka's picture along side too. That's what you call real insane fans.

Some BD fans are over optimistic at times, mostly just passionate like any others would be, but not over the top insane. Yes, our fans believe we can win WC. nothing wrong with that, that's just called belief yo (human nature all natural to do so)... but, you'll see our haters mock us for that. I think its the inferiority complex some them have. anyway, LOOK at their fans..burning pictures of players that has given so much to them.

The problem is, you'll bark the most when you know you are inevitably gonna lose the dominance. That is what indians have against us. Who would have thought 7 years after test status, they would have been deflowered by Tigers, and still freak out with their over-defensiveness against us whenever Tigers come up against them.

"There is no challenge which is insurmountable. With a lot of hard work, lot of heart, a lot of belief, we've made sure that everyone's heading in the same direction. I know tomorrow we'll still remain authentic to how we play. We'll play an aggressive brand of cricket with bat and ball in the field. We'll play with the humility which we've played with throughout this campaign as well. And hopefully the big fella upstairs shines on us when the pressure situations come into play." Brendon McCullum

Is anyone opening the final match thread?
