Massive congratulations to Rangpur on their maiden NCL triumph!!!

LKD, my man Naeem, captain fantastic Sajidul Islam, Ariful Haq, Sanjit, Mahmudul, Shuvo,Tanweer et el should be proud of themselves. They are my second favourite to Sylhet now

Talking about Sylhet -what a fantastic side they are! Although they only came forth but for me they are the true champion. Sylhet! Sylhet!

I wonder why Sajidul was captaining when Rangpur had Naeem, Shuvo, Mahmudul in the team.

Congrats to Rangpur on their maiden win. Remarkably only 2 points separate 3 teams at the top. Traditional powerhouse Rajshahi relegated to the 2nd tier.

Naeem is known for his legendary selfishness. Playing for personal stats not for the team. Shuvo -don't know. Mahmud, perhaps, far too young. Don't you think Sajid did okay?

Congrats Riyad! I hope this kicks of a whole new beginning for his career. This hundred was so much more impressive than last one. Better SR against better bowling line up. His form will be huge for us going into the QF final game.

Both Zia and Liton Kumar did very good in this Year's NCL. Mustafizur did well too.
For me, these 3 Players may come in to limelight in the remaining part of the year.

These are the players who stood out in this years NCL if we consider economy, SR and value to the team. Though we do not hope much from them after seeing Kapali and Kaedge scoring runs in the same tournament, still does anyone have any idea if some of them can break through main team of Bangladesh?

the list contains only those positions where BD team is currently looking for additional resources.

Only position vacant in our ODI team is an opener. In that case there is hope for LKD and Rony. They will have to fight against Anamul. Otherwise no vacancy so far.

I think ABDUL MAJID is missing in that batting table!

To me, LKD or Rony will be fighting for Tamim's slot. Enough free ride given to Tamim!

I would like to give Anamul more time. If he doesn't become fit ontime then I will go with two new openers (one of them may be SS). But no free ride for Tamim now.

I know I will be stoned for saying this, but I think Ziaur Rahman should be selected to initial extended team and let the national coaches evaluate him and make a decision if he can be molded enough to make him a useful limited over all-rounder. If they can make changes in Riyad and Rubel with-in that short period of time, who knows they may be able to make Ziaur a container bowler and an explosive batsman.

10 inning 12 wickets nothing to brag about. Even for an alrounder.

9 innings 21 wickets is something to investigate in placid wickets of BD. We need this boy in the academy ASAP.

wicket or not enough wicket....we have seen in our own eyes... and to my recollection, he (Ziaur) was not bad as a limited over bowler who can contain RR.

It was his batting that was missing when he came to national team. that's where Ziaur need to make a vast improvement for him to come back again.

There seems to be some really good new young players playing now, the stats of Mustafizur Rahman, Liton Kumar Das, Mosaddek Hossain, Rahatul Ferdous are really awesome. I hope they get into the Bangladesh team eventually

I am with you. Zia is a good bowler and he is improving his batting day by day. Though his batting is very unconventional still as he is improving I am with him.
