it was more like afg losing than zim winning, zim were 49 for 7 once, looks like the inexperienced afgans thought they won the game before it was finished and let go

Yup lack of experience. They'll have it in next few years.

It feels like Afghanistan ran out of luck. They lost all 4 tosses in a row and on this pitch it's difficult to bat as overs progress.

Zimbabwe have no death bowlers. I feel bad for them. Williams and ervine are off form. Panyangara and chatara are out due to injury. Just imagine. Some 2 years back Zimbabwe were as good as

So pretty much Afghanistan has not lost a series since Inzamam became their coach!?

Who would have thought Maulana Inzi will make such a good coach!

Yeah but they are playing Zimbabwe who are like 2014 Bangladesh - losing even when they are winning - except that they have no potential of improving.

Afghanistan's batting is amateur, they would get soundly beaten by even a mediocre side.

Zimbabwe with these pagol-jiva and jongi can't do much. Panyangara and chatara are needed

Even with Panny, Chatara, Taylor and Williams they lost to Ireland in the both world cups. Also only managed a series draw at home with AFG first time...if it was 5 match series, they'd have lost that one too.

Now walloped by 80 runs in a T20 against their wt20 group member.

We will only boost our own terrible record by playing such a hapless bunch. Anything less than 4-0 will be shocking. Our u-19s might have made it a competitive series.

Yeah we can start a rivalry with them since the Afghans are brash and loud. Zimbabwe are meek and there is no excitement whatsoever.

The good die young. mugabe has made to 90+

In truth Zimbabwe were always well below the top 8. True they had an outside shot with the Flowers and Streaks but they were still underdogs, heavy underdogs. Had they had all their top players available - Taylor, Ballance, Jarvis, Curran bros - they'd just be a bit ahead of us in Tests, and well behind us in ODIs. They'd fall to 10th in Tests too once BD wins a couple in the coming years.

And they have like 3 fans. 90% of their fans on the web are Aussies, Indians, Brits, and Kiwis. Actual Zimbos don't really care about the game.
