Default Well done Under 19 Tigers. You've done us proud

I'm sure you will all have the very best of life in the future, in cricket and any other field you want. Thanks for doing your best in this tournament, for playing your heart out. Don't worry at all about this loss, you will have plenty of wins in the future as I said in cricket and elsewhere. I won't ever forget your effort. Proud to be a tiger, proud to be supporting young men like you.

Well done, this is probably the most well balanced bunch of U-19 players unlike the sloppy ones of the past.

No doubt the 2006 version was good, but these guys in terms of fielding and other forms of professionalism were real good.

To go to the SF and make a fight out of it, remarkable. I doubt that our senior-side could play with such nerves

I think we did really well against Scots and Namibia. Won one by 110 runs and the other by 8 wickets and 35 overs remaining, thumpin win. Even against Nepal, we were chasing a tricky target and were at a difficult position and from there onwards we won the match with "ease"

On topic. This guys are genuinely good, not chokers like the previous sides with so-called talents who couldn't get us the QFs. I mean how do you explain the likes of Mustafiz, Taskin, Liton, Mosaddek, Anamul playing so many matches in the U-19 and yet we did jack?

Exactly! Proud of my his team. proud of the way they fought till the end.

We still have one more game and hopefully will finish third.

3 players I reckon from this batch will play Nats within next 3 years.

1) Miraz is most likely to be the first one to get nats cap from this batch. If Riyad/Shakib misses a series, I think he may get the nod. But his comps is mainly with Mosaddek Hossain.

2) Saifuddin will likely to be in as an AR due to the lack of availability of a seamer who can bat. As soon Mash get injured, I think he will be in ...

3) Shanto- still 17 but I think his chance is very slim for next two years in nats due to the fact that our top/middle is settle for now. Unless 2/3 guys get injured at the same time. I don't see him making it yet...

Congrats to WI as well. They have some very good pacers coming through. Cricket needs a strong West Indies.

It was a good run. We shouldn't be too upset at the loss as this is an U19 Cup and in the end it's supposed to be fun.

Players that I can see represent us in the future are Shanto, Miraz and Shaifuddin. As a matter of fact I would fast track these players in to the next A team tour. I feel they're ahead of the rest of the others and see them represent us in the near future
