Default Asia Cup 2016 Pace Watch

Taskin really bowling fast and maintaining good speed through the over. Clocked 145kph twice in the first over against UAE! Clocked 145kph against India too.

Add anything on pace in this thread.

Al Amin just clocked 140kph his fastest so far.

State who against and in which ball of the over.

Wow Taskin clocked 147kph against UAE 2.2over

Naveed also hit 147. Taskin easily fastest average pace by far. Only Wahab and maybe Sami can challengw him for avg pace.

Really? I thought that since this is a tourney where idea play in ...for some reason of stats it will be accurate..but then again it is before a world cup, so it is irrelevant.

Unrelated...I got a guy who can clock 150 in my team...he'll play in our friendly match tomorrow. Mark Flynn.

Wait until known speedsters like Wahab Chameera bowl. Taskin clocked 145.6 vs Windies as a 19 yo. No reason he can't get to 146.9 now. 150 is on the cards when we tour Eng, NZ, Aus.

This is the part that confuses me. Don't they measure the speed right after the ball leaves the hand of the bowler ? Then the reading should be the same regardless when it is being played ?

^Yah, they do. But the speeds maybe faster in everyone's case because the ball is travelling faster maybe due to the condition and also the time. Last time Shaun Tait crossed 160 barrier was in the night against Pakistan, and generally it swings more at nighttime as well. As all the matches are played in the nights few balls are really fast. Taskin reaching 147 is just out of this world, he is only 20/21, he is reaching that peak all fast bowlers do around the age of 24/25 when they bowl their fastest.

The fastest every ball delivered & recorded by a Bangladeshi was 149.5 by Rubel at the 2009 WC warmup match, if Taskin reaches 150 he will be the first Bangladeshi ever to do so and I think he will reach that target in the next 2 years. He is a true gem for Bangladeshi cricket.

Naveed and Taskin reached 147kph.

Cheema's highest was 143kph.

I think Sammy and Riaz will break 150kph barrier today...

Would have loved to See Rubel on this track

Yah, I am going to stay up till 4 AM and watch them bowl! Wahab might hit his fastest tonight! Pakistan always had a speedster, we just got one of our now (two actually but Rubel is not in the picture atm) so it is quite exciting as a Bangladeshi cricket fan. Rubel actually clocked the highest speed of the match against New Zealand, England, Sri Lanka, Scotland, Afghanistan in the WC. So he might actually have broken the 150 barrier but sigh.. We gotta wait for him to come back!

Taskin Ahmed is literally the fastest in Asia at the momment unless pakistani bowlers are faster#
I mean it is literally jaw dropping to see a bangladesh bowler consistenly bowling in 142 plus

This is probably his best and Fastest SPELLS EVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
He is a huge assest.I used to think rinthaq`s signature about how taskin was the future was a joke.I was a big rubel fan. However rubel cannot consistenly bowl in the 140s
Taskin is a huge assest and needs to be nurtured

This guy`s graphic should be like this

Taskin Ahmed Age 20 Right arm Fast
However blind statisticians cannot see his pace

Trust me Rubel will not be able to get in the 142+ range
Taskins height is a advantage

MashAllah! Impressed with Taskin's body shapping up well, nicely solid built for a pacer plus has the height to go with it!
By far best Looking, built with good height BD pacer ever produced!

Not by much. Taskin average was always higher too. He can sustain high pace.

You guys are underestimating Rubel's pace. Don't know how he will be after this injury, but he was clearly the fastest before that without even trying very hard.

That is crazy talk. Rubel has been quicker than Taskin in the past at least as far as top speed is concerned. Not sure about their average speeds. Rubel too would have easily clocked 145+ on these speed guns.

Taskin looks like a million bucks when he gets it right. But I wish he would pitch it up more. He would automatically become more potent.

He blew India away on a green track when he pitched it up.. just cause he has pace doesnt mean you have to bowl short 7/10 times..same with Rubel.

W Riaz, Amir both clocked 150k!
Irfan clocked 147.

Speed gun might not be 100% accurate.
