Mashrafe Bin Mortaza: what a player (wrong)

Mashrafe Bin Mortaza : What a player he was (correct)

Mashrafe Bin Mortaza : what a leader, what a legend (correct)

Mashrafe is the weak link in our bowling lineup because the number of times he has released the pressure from the opposition batsman by bringing himself on to bowl is quite alarming and I know that u too know it very well.

There is no doubt that he is a true leader, a great mentor and a legend in our cricket but only leadership skill and past glory shouldn't be the criteria to select someone in the playing 11.

These days he always comes to bowl when the opposition is under immense pressure and he knows that the batsman won't go after him which allows him to sneak out some of his overs.

This isn't how it's supposed to be done. He always allows the batsman to settle down with his constant supply of freebies when we could have just gone for the kill shot.

A captain should always lead from the front with his performance but what mash do is he hides behind the performance of the young stars. How can he tell Taskin to maintain his line and length when he himself is throwing them all over the park.

It should be quite simple. If u perform u'll remain in the team, otherwise u should be kicked out. It doesn't even matter whether you r a legend, a great tactician or whatever.

I understand your motivation to defend your previous statement. But deep inside, you know you are wrong. That's okay though.

He took a wicket and scored back-to-back boundaries against Amir, what more does he need to do.

Doesn't diminish his performance but apparently the idea to promote Mash instead of Mithun was Hathuri's. Read Mash's CI interview

Under Mashrafe's captaincy, Bangladesh's win % in ODIs is 81%, win % in T20s is 47%.

Credit to Hathuru da too and also Heath Streak and the rest of the coaching staff.
