Wasn't referring my post at you bro. Just in general we are to nice and diplomatic. Need to give it back to them. Trust me these b@£&*%# don't have any common general sense much nor have any humilty, they live on internet (referring to most of those on PP and ICF) they believe anything anyone says about BD fans ( like as if their fans are angels and don't break tvs after every match they lose or like as if their fans don't stone their captains house and burn players effigies ).

They have this mindset of being very judgemental basically they think they are perfect even though we know whats the situation going on in their land is far from perfect.

We also have fans like this, remember the dil chora incident in 2011?, this can go back and forth. As rinathq was trying to say there are sour apples everywhere.

Its fun to go on a rant at ICF. Its a trolling heaven. You can go on say almost anything and get away with it. But PP is much more civilised. A bit biased but hey we shouldnt judge people for the attributes we hold ourselves.

Lets forget about our subcontinent fans for a moment. I can assure you when BD played against ENG in wc,most Aussie’s supported BD over England . just dont need to go too far and listen to commentary of my fellow Queenslander Matthew Hayden, you will notice a significant changes in respect towads BD team. You just talk with anyone that goes to Gabba with children to enjoy cricket, all will tell you how dramatically BD turned the table and comming as a force.

So respect is growing among the true cricket lovers and allow them some time. We need to earn some titles first like what Srilanka did, until than its ok with me to hear minnows . You will be surprised to know some Aussie’s call NZ minnows (just some geographic rivalries).

Oh I forgot what I came here for. It was a good post and a timely reminder OP , "don't condemn everyone for what a few have done."

Nicely put

Good job rinathq.

There are idiots on all sides who incite. Then there are bigger idiots on all sides who CHOOSE to reciprocate. The quicker everyone learns to differentiate between banter and trolling and learns to pick their battles (online as well as in life), the better.

Word. Like I said once before, Many of our racially superior neighbors hate Bangladeshis to the core. Our existence is an insult to their great races. Those filthy folks can't stop hating on each but when it comes to bangladesh, they are lovey dovey and while dreaming of thrashing us.

We do not want to be friends with them. We do not want to make gestures of niceties. This goes way beyond cricket.

PP and ICF have too many Al Furqaans. We just have one.

But good post Rinat. I lurked in PP for few days and there is a genuine hatred for BD. I didn't wanna engage and just left..

Yeah...I'll behave for a while. But as all petulant children do I'll be up to my shenanigans before too long!

Man I went to that thread and some BD poster said BD did not know what is cricket before 99!!

Fans like these enough to put us in shame. I myself bowled "cricket balls" (not tape tennis) and played cricket in the eighties.

Not sure why an "Oh please don't hate us, we're not all bad " thread was needed on some hater forum. Naturally we're going to cop some flak for that poor performance after talking the team up as much as we did. Just take it like a man and patiently await glorious revenge.

I see what you're saying but maybe it was necessary so that the sane amongst those in the other camps who were misled could see sense. Of course, to the trolls and the racist jingoists - this won't make much of a difference.

it's a very good post by Rinat bhai, but I think it won't matter.
the thing is that wether u are BD or Ind or Pak we are all from sub continent, we have a lot of passion but we lack compassion, we have so much pride but we are miser when it comes to show respect to the opponents.
And this virtual world is helping us to spread hatred or jealousy,
I still wish and hope that us BD fans stop minding too much of what others think of us and just think more about our team, our players and let the performance do the talking.
We can not change the way others look at us, what we can do is support and celebrate.
