Default Bangladesh A Team- Why not invite Associates?

Why not invite 4 associate teams to take part in a tournment that includes our A team? The reward for the winner should be couple of matches against the national team. This benefits the associates team, it also benefits our upcoming talents and some out of form national players. Any thoughts on this?

Since its a matter of cost related, may be one idea could be to use BPL, 6 local team + invite 4 associate team. Some of the cost might/can be covered by the revenue earned from BPL. Not at all sure if it is cost effective but certainly will help local as well as associate players. If feasible this could a helping hand towards associate teams, and eventually other top 10 boards might see some way of helping if not the spineless ICC.

Ever wondered why these noble initiatives never happen? Because it costs money to host teams for such tournaments and while we are not broke we would rather use that money to send our A team to England, Australia, SA etc. If the associate share costs and their companies buy tv rights and sponsorships i think we would be happy to host them

Leaving the tournment part, why can't we invite Afganistan to play our A team if we are too worried about the cost? I mean BCB has the resources to at least invite one associate? Would you rather play a village team in South africa or a national team? They can really help out our A team preparation for development and confidence. Think about it upcoming players taking part in 4 day, 50 overs and t20 series against Afghanistan or even Ireland will be really beneficial.

We don't know if BCB has ever talked with any associate team for such kind of series and the cost management from both sides. Having recently made a revenue of US 3 million dollar from BPL, they can invest those funds on tours? And seeing our A tours in overseas and than playing with teams that are not even proper domestic teams makes you wonder how Is IT helping our players development? BCB to benefit their own players should find a solution to this! We may be the only country that plays lot less A tours than others.

Unfortunately A Team, BCB XI tours have reduced-perhaps due to cost. But would be great if BCB can give more opportunity to our emerging and second team-sure associates will be up for it

Don't think the associates want to play with A teams, everyone wants to play the main team. Like we did, when we were minnows.

If they beat the A Team, than they shall be rewarded to play against the national team.
