Mashrafi said "their spinners troubled us. we don't play such good spinner on the nets. their line and length was nikhut"

that tells the story. we have army of SLAs who doesn't trouble our batsmen at all. Mushy sweeps them all day long for six. Taijul/Arafat Sunny/Elias Sunny/MH Rubel/Enam Jnr/Shuvo/Saqlain Sajib are all the same. But in real match Mushy gets bowled by a googly or caught in the deep.

Then again the question is 'what is the magic paan moshla that Shakib has, and why can't he offer it to others?'

Mushfiq can sweep our spinners all he wants because they hardly turn the ball. Dumbo did not realize that's not the case for Afghan leggies.

In subcontinent, it's typically other way around.

Batting under lights is only difficult when the ball is 5-10 overs old. After that pitch becomes flat.

If Bangladesh batted 2nd on both occassions it would be different. Mirpur wicket gets flat when the sun dissappears. Its not because of dew. The pitch is usually dry and slow in the afternoon but gets flat as the day progresses. So if a team can bat out the first 10 overs without any problem, chasing any score is easy as we have shown against Pakistan in the previous series.

However, we cannot use this as an excuse, we are a better side than Afghanistan and should be able to win regardless of the toss IN our home turf.

Home turf is not made for home advantage in this case. They should've made a flat batting 300+ pitch that stays consistent over the course of the game. It looks to me, Afghanistan is bowling when it turns and the other way around for Bangladesh.

1) Is this a batting failure? Don't agree. Afghanistan's bowling is world class with good pacers and spinners and both their spinners have decent experience. They are a good bowling (but bad fielding) side. If you explain this match with not putting up enough total (209) how would you expect them to nearly lose the match last time with 265 on board?
2) What Bangladesh should have done better is the bowling and fielding. With Fizz missing, Bangladesh bowling can not rely on an unplayable bowler. When Fizz is in action, others either lose wickets against him or try to attack other end and throw away wickets.
Without Fizz, Bangladesh lacks any genuine wicket takers who can turn the match around.
3) Bad fielding is now noticeable, even though Bangladesh was never a brilliant fielding side.

To win the last match, Bangladesh needs to chase, instead of batting first. Rely on batting and win the match ... also I believe there's a bit of dew in the air later on.
Spot on Horizon.

The Fiz is missing HUGELY ...

Some one fire this curator. Sick of his pathetic wickets suiting away sides. He also made horrible pitches last BPL. We need flat decks as our batsmen are free flowinf stroke makers not grafters maybe mushy is but all likeball coming on.

Disagree. The problem is that none of our batsman can bat on pace or spin tracks.

Ofcourse they can

But when you generally expect flat pitches and then you all of a sudden realize the pitch suits the opposition it sucks.

And the lineup antaksheri continues... No comments on Soumya as some fan boys will come out and say I am an "enemy" of Bangladesh cricket
