11.5 Harmison to Clarke, one run, turned away to the midwicket region,

11.4 Harmison to Martyn, OUT: another duck! short outside the off stump,
Martyn goes after it, ball clips the edge and flies down to the
third man region, Pietersen in the deep makes no mistake, Harmison
on fire! Australia in all sorts of trouble here!

11.1 Harmison to Gilchrist, OUT: gone! Gilchrist catches an edge chasing
a wide delivery outside the off stump, taken comfortably by Jones
behind the stumps, Australia one down

How happy will I be if England can bowl Australia out for under 200 (like they did with us) and then get the runs quick enough for the bonus point. That would be the ultimate way to round off an amazing weekend!!

We'll have to move this to the International Cricket forum in due course but given the context of this game after our win yesterday, I'll keep it here for the time being.

Australia is playing like Bangladesh after a flying start. Looks like they will be all out before 200, like BD did against ENG.

I think Australia should work really hard and make sure they get past 79. It will be tough, but they must show improvement if they want to play at this level!

This is such a stupid England line-up. Why on earth do they feel the need to play a specialist batsman at number 8? I mean, if their top 7 isn't going to do it for them, they don't deserve to win. I just dont know which moron thought up this strategy of packing the side with so much batting. Might have been understandable if the England top order were struggling, but this is ridiculous. With Flintoff in the team, they have the opportunity to go into every match with 6 front-line batsmen, and 5 front-line bowlers. Why on earth wouldn't they want to do that?

Australia would have struggled to reach 250 if Batty was in the team instead of Solanki! The part-timers gave away 58 runs in the 10 overs they had to bowl and they had no cover for Lewis who didn't have a good day today. Batty would have bowled his ten overs for 35 in the middle overs, like Rafique did yesterday, and the Aussies wouldn't have come back in the game like they did to post a 250 + total.

Hmm,

Australia score 250 & 252 against Bangladesh and England respectively. (they did get 9 wickets, while we got 5)

Yet, the English bowling is by all means much stronger than ours.

Isnt that interesting......
