No big deal even though a draw was there for the taking. I know a lot of people are disappointed in the way Bangladesh have performed on this tour, but it was their first tour in over two years. The experience will only make a lot of these players better. Also, had New Zealand toured us again, the results would've been all in our favour. Them taking on Fizz and Mehedi is impossible IN our country. Same with Australia, South Africa and England. I know England beat us in the ODI series, and the test series was shared, but had the Fizz played, the result would've most likely been 3-0 and 2-0. Let's be realistic. Bangladesh are improving. Bangladesh are strong at home. Bangladesh still has a long way to go to win series away from home. However, Bangladesh despite struggling away to New Zealand, still could've won an ODI and T20 game, and drawn that 1st test had the players and management gotten their act together.

Daily Star reporting NZ watered down the pitch on 4th day evening which created hostile situation for bd batters in the morning and ICC and NZ board are saying nothing...

http://www.thedailystar.net/sports/c...ebrows-1346851

One thing i want to mention TI said when they come to bd we make spin pitch and when we are here they make pacy pitch which i am ok with bowl as much pace as you want but bouncing 1 after another to also an injured player is too much in my opinion as its not only skill issue at that point. We make spin wicket to get wicket not get a player hurt were as its not that way the other way. On top they cheated to win the match. it shows how desperate they are... guys cheer up we are improving and in couple of years IA we will take over NZ, WI and PAK in all format.

Can someone tell me what happens when you water next to the pitch? Does it negate spin and increase swing/seam?

it creates un even bounce, thats why their bounces were not going over the head instead was shoulder height and became much more dangerous.

This happened in the Past, Debuting the likes of Mashrafee, Nazmul, Talha Jubair. I guess they took a look at history and took the safer route. Taskin also had a lot of problems with injury so it was correct decision not to debut him then.

These NZ guys - nice and "sportsman-like" on the outside, but ruthless Machiavellian tacticians at heart.
