Default Food For Thought:Why don`t we let Sabbir Rahman be our next T20I Captain, and let him open with Souyma/Tamim

Fans already knew that it was never going to go our way when you have test batsmen in your middle order(Mushfiqur), who can`t muscle a full toss ball if their life depended on it. Shakib, slows down the RR, and his T20I bowling has so far degraded, Mahmudullah, is well mahmudullah and mosaddek is too young to be commented on, so that leaves us with only 3 or possibly two genuine T20i material batsmen, Soumya and Sabbir, who can both rotate strike, and get out quickly when they are playing ****. We should start thinking about a specialist t20 captain, sabbir is the perfect material, aggressive and proactive, the days of relying on hack jobs such as mushfiq, shakib and tamim need to be closed, especially in the T20i format, where we have so much potential, yet little brains, how the hell is shakib even in the t20i team, with a avg of only 23....

The next future T20i Squad should be

1.Souyma
2.Sabbir Rahman
3.Tamim Iqbal( or Souyma Depends on form)
4.Mehedi maruf
5.Mahmudullah Riyad
6.Mosadekk Hossain
7.Shakib Al Hasan
8.Miraz
9.Fizz
10.Taskin(or any other decent pacer)
11.Rubel

And for people who still want sabbir to bat lower in T20is,
just know this, he is the greatest/highest ranked T20i Batsmen for bangladesh Ever

What does personal life have to do with this, its his life, don`t judge him by his actions, he can do what he likes,

Sabbir will prove you wrong today, just watch. When BD was in deep ****, cause of hapless batting from Tamim,Souyma and Mushfiq, it was sabbir rahman who turned the score from 2-2 to 120-3

There are those who know to follow, and those who are the leader of men.

I d put Sabbir in the first category. Its not just about not being ready, he might never-just that type of player. Mehedi Miraz has a better opportunity-not just because he was an Under 19 captain, but because he is that type of personality who leads from front, gets along with everyone.

Tamim has to be our next captain in both Odis and t20s.

He's undoubtedly the best player in the team and the whole team thrives on his success.

It's time to give him the responsibility of leading the National team and there's no doubt about the fact that he's the only one in the whole team who truly deserves it.

Would have disagreed with you a month ago.

But noticed him up close. Clearly the best "team man" after Mashrafe. Gets along with everyone. Connects well with umpires, opposition.

Always involved with talking to bowlers, field setup.

Not sure how sharp he is tactically. But he has the leadership skills, certainly above Shakib and Mushfiq.
