This is my proven weight loss tactic :

Breakfast - 1/2 bowl Kelloggs corn flakes with milk
Snacks - Plain yogurt / peanuts/ brazil nuts
Lunch - Tuna mayo sweetcorn sandwich
Dinner - Bowl of chopped tormuj and then a glass of milk an hour later
And, drink 8 glasses of water a day
Have rice only on a weekend. If tormuj becomes boring, substitute with bangi / aam

This is a very good lean and thin diet. Superbly healthy! I like this diet.

My abba used to do this late at night when he used to come home from work, when I was a young boy. Aloor bhorta with thinly sliced red chilli and onion. Now my dad is almost paralyzed and bed ridden, he can't make that no more. I really liked my abba's made aloor bhorta, I used to wait for him to come home at night and make that with warm rice.

I am sorry to hear about dad. My dad used to make mishti and pitha at home. Now, he's been diagnosed with diabetes and all I can now is cry and sing " Agey ki shundor din kataitam"

Tormuj is an amazing fruit. It keeps you internally cool and also keeps you full. And, if you are lucky o get hold of Turkish tormuj, tailey to kotahi nai, ekkebarey kella foteh!

1. Lacto free milk.
2. Mayo will have all the negative affects. Replace with tomato slices.

"Aam" regularly khaile ar ojon komano lagbe na.

Doodhkey shobai dosh dey bina karoney. 100g of whole milk only has 1g fat. It's not the milk which made you fat but the shwarma, donuts, ice cream, pizza, etc. that you ate
Of course, go for light mayo.
Aaamer beparey asholei thik bolsen.
100g mango has 14g sugar!
Banana has 12g
Apple has 10g
Orange has 9g
Watermelon has 6g
Kiwi has 9g
Grape has 16g!!!
Lemon has 2.5g ... good luck

Seriously speaking, If I am looking to target a 8%-9% body fat. What would be a realistic meal plan?

^ No fat, no sugar, basically no carb, especially white rice/bread. Stay away from starchy carbs like potatoes, corn etc. Lean meat/fish only, baked/grilled, with greens. Cardio, cardio, cardio, and more cardio. Running, hiking, yoga, pilates are all good cardio. Take some BCAA so you don't lose your muscle in the process. Also, drink a **** ton of green tea to help lose those last couple %.

You basically have to make it your JOB to get anywhere below 10%. That's like pro level stuff. >5% is Olympic level stuff.

Other ways to lose some weight?

Drink some Chinese (green) tee, you will run to the bathroom rest of the day...

And yes you can do that without giving up your shwarma, donuts, ice cream, pizza, etc.
