The coins in England are far heavier than the coins in BD. Like their players it always rolls to their side. When England comes to BD due to average weight of the cricketers in two teams, the lighter coins can give us better chances.

Or, we can ask for a neutral coin from South Africa or West Indies. Definitely if it was Pakistan winning all the tosses against ENgland or Australia ICC would have poked it nose to take stern actions.

It's all karma, everything equals itself out in the end

Bashar's Test toss record
10 tosses, 3 won, 7 lost (30%)

Bashar's ODI toss record
24 tosses, 10 won, 14 lost (42%)

Did not get it H_fan. With (3+14)/(10+24) = 38% luck, Bashar looks unlucky to me.

38% isn't as unlucky as 1 out of however many tosses he's done this series. By the time Bashar stands down as captain (yes that's right, Habib will not have captaincy taken away from him ever) that will be closer to 50%

Guys, why r u all so much bothered about a thing which is not fully in his hand. Its all about luck to win the tosses.

If luck favour Bashar, he will win it. Thats it.

And this homeopathy dose was taken by English captain Vaughan. Now look he is winning every tosses(6 consecutive). And you say there is no trick for winning tosses. The only problem is that dose is too costly. Bashar cannot afford that.

this is not true, the whole tossing matter is based on luck.

Yeah, It is true. I got a free sample dose and took it myself. But unfortunately I cannot check the effectiveness of it. In normal life I don't toss much, you know. :P:P

breaking news... Bashar doesn't even bother to toss. He walks up to the op team and tell them you won the toss so that he doesn't have to make a bad dis like pointing and have sleepless nite...

Default Bashar\'s toss fear

DS Report
Quote:
"I feel more pressure when I walk into the middle for the toss than batting out there. I have already lost five out of five and most likely lose the last three and create a record of some sort," said a witty Bashar with a boyish smile on his face after the net session at Old Trafford.
But, this is really dumb thinking-
Quote:
"We also had a plan to bowl first at Trent Bridge against England and I'm relieved that I called the coin correctly. The information we gathered is that at Trent Bridge the ball does a bit in the first hour. But we bowled badly in the first 15 overs," Bashar said.
It was the middle of a sunny day, not early morning, how did he expected extra assistance from the pitch?

Batting under flood light is always a bad idea as England is showing today.

If you choose 'heads' all the time, no matter what, eventually you will win. Don't tell me that 'tails' will come up 10 times in a row

About the Probability Law...

He's proving it all wrong only if he has been choosing Heads/Tails all the time consistently...or if the toss has been either heads or tails every time....
