He has a 3 year contract!!

He needs to be sacked

Pace bowling camp with 15 pacers under Walsh!
Tentative date: July 17 - July 28.

From Samakal:

Yeh the same lazies who dominated cricket throughout the 70s, 80s and 90s and just won 3 tournaments last year. Geez where do people come up with this crap, such Trump-like mentality.

Now I've seen everything.

Why so much hate fellow brothers?

Walsh is one of our great cricket heroes.

Did you know that's he holds the record for the most balls bowled in test cricket? Where is the laziness in this?

I knew you were angry when you said that, I forgive you.

I have been an advocate of releasing him from the bolwing coach post. He is not that suited for this particular job. Perhaps, he could go on to work with our bowlers here in the West Indies as an advisor.

I have never been a fan of the title of this thread. It could have been stretched out to say that he was of no use as a bowling coach. Now the attacks are not aiming at him as a coach but him as a person.

I think it's inappropriate.

It's just one poster's racist comment. Ignore it.

No one is criticizing Walsh the player, but we are all frustrated with Walsh the coach.

In an interview Rubel had said, they dont get the opportunity to work on their technique and skills during tours. So all the pace bowlers were looking forward to the bowling camp where they could get more time, attention from Walsh.

While the above might not be wrong, we saw what Streak did-how he got the best out of the players during every series, every match. Nevertheless it ll be interesting to see if this bowling camp brings about any visible improvement.

I've said it a long time ago. As usual everybody disagreed with me when i first pointed out Walsh's incompetency as a coach. They thought he would get better with time, sadly he didn't and I've been proven right once again.

Continue voicing your disapproval at the bowling coach, sooner rather than later he will be out.

this needs a bump. Now we need real criticism when we are winning and the bowlers are performing.

RBX and Fizz showed improvement from last series, Saifuddin not so much. Keep in mind that Champaka was very involved in the pacer preparation this time. I think Walsh is being redundant in the coaching staff atm.

I would like to give him the benefit of doubt.

If it's working, he must have doing something right.

My opinion of getting rid of him hasn't changed. He still needs to be kicked out!

If we are not getting a HPC anytime soon then there is actually zero value to have any kind of coach really. It seems Shujon and Co. are super confident. We all know excessive pride calls downfall.

So the results or on field improvement, have no affect. It is a personal opinion/dislike/hatred. I can respect that.

I think they bowlers improved on their own by looking at Youtube videos and hours of practice and what Mash tells them. Because these guys love to have a big bro.

I think Walsh is totally redundant in the mix. A great player, but an useless coach.

And if he is indeed so good, why could he not make the prodigy Taskin work? I mean, this guy was supposed to absolutely take over, Bd was supposed to be his team in next few years as he got better and commanded more respect. The next face of the team, and all that. But it fell through. Coach Walsh could not salvage the situation?

May be we can use this abbreviated to WNTG in place of KDPP and start using it for certain members to whom mentioning the later seems cringe worthy at times.

From now on KDPP replaced with WNTG.

Problem solved.
