We really have a special talent here, Liton can be our plastic De Kock.

Was never a fan of Anamul but id much rather Anamul than Sabbir in the test side atleast Anamul can spend extended periods of time at the crease despite his shortcomings. Anamul openings is a big no no but at 6/7 I don't see an issue.

Yeah but he played some big innings quickly into his start of test career.

Litton so far has been a mixed bag (that too only in tests).

Litton (a wicket keeper batsman) is like an allrounder. Also he bats lower end. A steady wicket keeping and some 70+ inning here and there will give him a breathing room to stay in the team and learn and improve over time. Litton has more than one way to contribute in the team.

On the other hand a young player like Monin is a specialized #3 batsman (unless he seriously takes his bowling). Inconsistency batting (even with few 70 here and there) will put the team in a bad situation more often. If he fails with the batting (both innings), there is no meaningful way for him to contribute in the team.

Bottom line: a specialized #3 batsman need to consistently get good runs. But its (good but) not that important that a #6/#7 batting wicket keeper gets big runs.
