Historic indeed.

The longest T20 partnership in terms of balls faced in the international game.

Both Rohit and Dhawan took their time early on, probably because we played one less batsman today to accommodate Nehra, thanks to Kohli for going berserk in the end else we would not have reached 200.

Swashbuckling half century from Kohli, he is only hope now as wks keep falling on the other end, asking rate is already 14.

As usual sucking the momentum and leaving Kohli to do all the hard work.

Need 85 of 30, don't think possible even for Kohli with Dhoni being his partner.

Anything is possible when Kohli is batting. He will chase these with one eye closed - Esclipe. (Not my Statement). Lol

Man at this point I would rather have Misbah in our team than Dhoni, at least Misbah can launch spinners for six, now Kohli gone, match is lost, thank you Dhoni you cringeworthy monolith.

Dhoni is past it mate by a few years. Trust me I used to be fan of him, still am of his whole character, praise what he has done coming from a small town, from a humble background to becoming a world mega star in a country of over billion. Hata of to him. Had a great career, archived everything there in cricket.

Now it’s better he steps aside and lets youngster have the chance to grow into the keeping role for many years to come, with WC 19 not far.

Completely agree with what you said, despite what I write I have immense respect for Dhoni, an ODI ATG and a legend, but he should have made the right call and retire at least a couple years back. It is really embarrassing for his fans to see him bat like a tailender.

If we carry the likes of Dhoni, Karthik, Rahane, Axar to WC, I will surely have to skip it, I swear it by the old Gods and the new.

Saw the NZ innings and have to say that the Indian bowlers were bowling a lot of loose deliveries and catches were dropped.

But nevertheless the batting was brutal by the Kiwis

So we won the series 2-1 despite pathetic team selection, there can be no justification for not playing KL Rahul, guy averages 56 in t20s with a strike rate of 150+.
