Are most BD cricket fans members of this forum?

Or is there another place for them to assemble?

Why put guys like prithvi Shaw and baheer into the u19 team even if it’s for a World Cup? Prodigious talents like that often can be hindered by going back to u19 cricket.

Shaw was killing it in the ranji trophy then they made him play the u19 challenger trophy and assigned him captain of the u19 team for the WC and then they put him back in for Mumbai for an important match where he got out cheaply, coincidence maybe but it also could be the gulf between u19 bowlers and atmosphere and ranji trophy bowlers and atmosphere.

Baheer averages like 120 in FC cricket and he’s been named in the WC u19 squad for Afghanistan and he’s missing FC cricket because of it.

A kid like breetzke I understand, he’s dominated at u19s but he’s still trying to find his way at the FC open level but guys like Shaw, Gill, Baheer should not be dropped back down to u19 level imo.

I think this is the only major forum for BD fans to hang out!
Plus, Facebook has over 30+ cricket related groups for Tigers!

Haven't want any BPL matches. For those who have been watching, how has the aesthetics and coverage been? Better than last year? Any improvement?

Quality of cricket is okay(but not better than last season IMHO)

Broadcasting.... haha, the word garbage is an understatement.

^^ I would love to see Harbhajan try to slap him now.

I see that he is now a movie star. Good on him, acting is his true calling.

I love that helicopter celebration from him after smacking Steyn (I think?) For a six straight back over the bowler's head.

It was good sledging

Perhaps because of shakib and tamim, they've been playing international cricket for 10/11 years, these guys would've been about 10 years old or even younger, although if they started playing younger than that then rafique was before shakib/tamim and also bowled lefty.

Those guys are 3 major icons of BD cricket and are all lefties so not that surprising lefties are coming through.

Well not now but back 10 years ago he would’ve been but I didn’t say they were the biggest icons I said they were 3 major icons, not the only icons.

Some of the coaches encourage players to bat with their dominant hand as the top hand on the handle of the bat. That's what players like Tamim, Imrul, Soumya, Michael Clarke, Aron Finch, and Ben stokes do. Players like Afif, Saifuddin and Shanto follow that trend. There are only few truly ambidextrous players who can bowl with both arms.
