Broad and Anderson with the new ball are probing...a few went past Bancroft's bat, while one kept low to Warner...in fact, that was the first ball Warner faced.

This is an intersting period of play: Smith and Warner versus Broad and Anderson. The deficit is 99. Lunch coming up in 7 minutes

Absolutely unbelievable. WOW! Just wow. Didn't watch a single frame of the match, but followed the hype. This is EXACTLY where top teams beat us. In terms of temperament and consistency...

We would have been bundled out long time ago.

So maxwell dropped for the ODIs, Lynn brought in, IMO should have them both in the squad and potentially both in the xi.

So, what's now for Root? Will he continue as the Test captain? Or has Australia ended the captaincy of another Pommie?

Root will still continue I think, more than his captaincy he should be worried about his batting, hard to believe such a complete batter with such an awful conversion rate.

The Ashes is not exciting unless England wins.

Cam White replaces Chris Lynn.Good replacement. But poor Darcy Short 400 runs in Big Bash misses his chance scoring 90 90 and 122.
