Haturu knows our weakness...it's obvious.

We (bcb) know that Haturu knows our weakness that also obvious.

So what we do? We suck our thumbs and wait and wait and complain and cry ???

Or we plan our counter strategy based on that? Wondering what will be Akram/Chacha/Sakib/Mashrafee's counter strategy.

He knows the BD's weakness....but he doesn't know that the boys also knows his weakness

Don't think this plan is specifically for us. With LOI matches being played on flat pitches more often than not, wrist spinners are becoming much more desirable than finger spinners nowadays. Even Ashwin nowadays learning legspin, to stay relevant.

ICC Trophies are generally played on super flat pitches. So this is certainly the right move for him leading to WC'19, to start grooming his wrist spinners.

However, as the Lankan spin coach said, both of those guys lack control atp, as it takes years to develop control with this sort of bowling. This is something we should be definitely plan to exploit.

In last five years, our boys actually have done decently to handle visiting spinners on Mirpur, at least in ODI: http://stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/eng...s;type=bowling

I would worry more about Nabi and Rashid Khan, with their superior control, than those two Lankans.

What preparation are we taking for the tri series? Are the boys in a camp and Shujon conducting it? Who are in the camp actually?

Yes sabbir should be out, he needs to deal with the consequences and his issues, he hasn’t really been performing which just makes it easier to drop him and give someone else a chance.

Supremely talented but needs to sort himself out.

No big deal, Sabbir was out of form anyway. We have Riyad as substitute for #7. Mushfiq, Shakib, and Mosaddek can be slotted in 4-6.

I guess this opens a bench spot for Nasir.

Goru-Chagol belongs to upper class. Our board is on the Gadha level.

হাথুরু ‘বকা’ দিতেন, মাহমুদ করেন ‘আদর’!

I agree with Taskin on one point - it's unfair to blame the SA disaster on the bowlers alone. The pitches over there were flat, SA was without some of their key pacers, yet batsmen failed miserably.

We are not talking about Zim at all.. they can turn out to be the surprising package.. Heath streak is their coach who was also our former bowling coach..

Looking forward to this but missing of Hature will hurt us. By the way, has he joined the SL team?

He'll do fine against zim..and based on that he'll get one more series where he'll get thrashed.. Seriously do we need any more of these 3rd class slow left armers?
