for the record:

Mashrafee picks four wickets in four successive balls

Bangladesh one-day international skipper Mashrafee bin Murtaza on Tuesday picked up four wickets in four successive balls for Abahani Limited against Agrani Bank in their Dhaka Premier League match at Fatullah.

The veteran pacer dismissed Dhiman Ghosh, Abdur Razzak, Shafiul Islam and Fazle Rabby in four successive balls in the 50th over to give his club Abahani an 11-run victory.

Earlier, opting to bat first, Abahani scored 290-6 in 50 overs while Agrani Bank could score 279-10 in 49.5 overs.

2 Wickets away from 250 ODI wickets

He has 247 for Bangladesh and 1 for Asia XI.

To think how many would he have if he hadnt gotten injured, he has 377 List A wickets, so I would think he be close to 400, if his knees held up.

I hope he makes it to 300.

We will win the World cup if he gets to 300. Good to see you back and posting.

anyone saw the interview of when MASH came back home and one of the reporters asked him about what he though about Liton's dismissal. Mash's response: "I already got a 40% fine for over rate, I am not looking forward to any more fines" ... will post the video once I find it again LOL

If there is anyone in world cricket who deserves a World Cup right now, it's Mashrafee. Let's give him a fitting farewell...

Mash carrying multiple injuries atm-
Quote:
“I am carrying the same injury since the Zimbabwe series (groin). Now I am also suffering from a slight hamstring injury, which was not there earlier. So in terms of fitness level, I am in no better position than the last series. Although I have taken three wickets Sunday, I am not in my best fitness level at the moment,” said Mashrafe to the media during the post-match press conference Sunday.

He will not get time to rehab before BPL either as he will be busy with his political campaign. IMO, if he serious about continue to lead the ODI team till WC, he should skip out BPL and use the time for rehab.

Carrying multiple injuries but still decided to play - to boost his vote bank. More wickets, more votes.

I recommend you ignore such politically motivated ignorant comment. Even replying to these guys is giving them too much attention.

Some people are just mentally demented in here.

He is the backbone and brains of the team. He wears his heart on his sleeve.

Even with such barriers he can still generate results. What have you done note worthy in your life for your country?
