Yes as a limited overs batsman Dhoni is miles ahead of Mushy. Although interestingly his SR in T20s is quite a bit lower than Mushy's. Belies common sense since he's such a powerful batsman...anyways.

However, I stand by my view that Mushy is a more pure batsman than Dhoni, and many others who are universally acclaimed as being greater batsmen. He's also more versatile and more complete in light of my post above.

Of course as WK and as a captain, I think Mushy is the worst one amongst the 10 test nations, and probably by some distance. But I was always just talking about batting, and specifically Test batting.

Its also important to note that Mushfiq spent the years 2005-2011 developing his batting. He didn't even emerge as Bangladesh's best batsman until very recently. Time must also be factored in. Its safe to assume Dhoni's Test average won't exceed 40 by much by the time he retires. And if he stays on past his time like subcontinent players tend to do, it may drop into the 30s. Mushfiq has only played 30 odd tests. If he plays another 60 more (rought 10-12 years) its likely - though of course not guaranteed - that his average will cross Dhoni's.

BCB at their clueless best. What the eff is "a consultant"? Saqlain is our consultant but when was the last time he was in BD? 100 days a year? What bullshit is that? Either hire the guy as a spinners coach or don't. Same thing with Wasim. Either hire him or don't. I guarantee no pacer will learn an iota with 100 piecewise days of fast bowling "consultancy". BCB should just tell Wasim bhai to stay in Lahore and we'll mail his check every month.

Idiots running the show.
