I was pumped up until I saw the teams. Not a single BD player. Not interested.

And South Africa will surely give there's another go...only good thing I see about so many t20 tournaments is one like this Canadian one, well it has to have at least 4 Canadian players per team so it will prob help Canadian cricket improve, at least in shorter formats. Overall there are just too many imo.

There's a UAE one that's putting pressure on PSL and to rival IPL soon coming.

Something of that sort being reported on Cricinfo

How come these teams have managed to get Moody and Simmons as coach ? Money ? I don't think so. BCB can offer more money than these teams. Duration of coaching ? May be. Most coaches now don't want to stay for long time. For me, getting Moody or Simmons type coaches for 5-6 months is better than having an unknown full time coach (hell, we are not even getting an unknown coach full time coach).

If I get paid right, if there is an opportunity for me to get practice in subcontinent conditions, I would go to Bangladesh in a hearttttbeat. But most of our franchises look for 2nd grade Pakistani players to fill their quotas and save money. Imagine if everytime piled up teams like Rangupur and Dhaka did..... The BPL would be a hell of a tournament
