Wow! I have such a new found respect for C ronaldo. Never gave him much thought over Messi but this guy out did himself today. Ronaldo vs possibly the best team spain. And it's a bloody tie. Amazing CR7. :bowing down:

I went to a sports bar in Manhattan with coworkers and watched the game. the atmosphere was insane.

Wish I could watch all games with big crowds. The passion is real

What a game. Felt like the final. That intensity by both teams and CR7 carrying Portugal till the last minute. Respect.

Spain should have won. What a howler from De Gea.

That Ronaldo free kick silenced everyone.

But goal 2 and 3 by Spain both needs to be in the contention for best goals list.

Spain vs. Portugal was by far the best game of this world cup so far. Almost flawless execution by both teams.

I agree they were great goals. Spain is such a solid team this year and great to watch. Portugal got lucky tying this tbh. I am becoming their (spain) fan actually.

Waiting very impatiently to see brazil arg german and french game to see which team would be able to topple the intensity...

Hopefully Messi can prove once again why he is a superior player this WC over the poser . Rooting for him to bring his best this. One player can make a big difference.

It was a really good game but saying best game thus far in this world cup isn't saying much LOL. REst of the matches were very below par, not upto the mark.

Looking at the group stage match up.. this was the game i was keen on seeing the most and it didn't disappoint. This game will be talked about a lot now and in future because of performance of CR 7.

I doubt he will be able to maintain this flow.. will see. Always a fan of quality soccer.

It was a great match because it is relatively rare for group stage matches involving 2 big teams to end up 3-2 or 3-3, most times it is a cagey affair ending in a 0-0 or 1-1 or one side nicking it 1-0
