Umpire David Shephard retires

those of us grew up watching cricket have seen david shephard umpriing for a long time....he is amongst the first umpires i remember, since they days i started to understand cricket...

most of us curse him for giving "not out" to most lbw appeals....yesterday's match b/w england and australia was his last ODI as he is retiring now...

it was a emotional farewell for him....camera followed him, not the team that won the natwest challenge.....the players came out to the field and lined outstide as players shook hands and hugged him while crowds cheered....
