He's probably the most brainless cricketer in the current team. Got beaten so many times during death overs in the past, still bowling those half volley every time. In T20 & ODI, players have to be street smart, not a gobbet like him. Rubel should only be selected for Red ball game.

Ok, Rubel can't play tests and now t20s. His performance in ODIs hasn't been too spectacular either in the past 2 years, so is there even a point in him being in the team or a continued investmen?

His attempted Yorkers (Half Volley) are great to hit thanks to the pace he offers, the afghan Batsmen were struggling to hit and then suddenly sending him out of the park after he came on

What happened to Al-Amin? He was a very good wicket taker in the international stage. As for Taskin, he is gonna get smashed himself too. But above all, we need a fast bowling coach.

Rubel is one of the worst fast bowlers - idiot geraimma pola with no ghilu, skill. Some raw pace and everyone is gaga over him.

Can our selectors, captain look up at stats? With Rubel's stat in T20, how can he get selected in T20? Jottoshob!!!

Worst bowler in the world when we have a huge pile of runs to defend and victory is almost certain. Costed us The Tri-Series Trophy vs Sri Lanka and The Nidhahas Trophy vs India.

On the other hand, he isn’t too bad when defending just a few runs where victory looks more likely for the other team. For example last ODI of that famous first Kiwi Banglawash and World Cup ‘ 15 vs England.

Rubel Hossain:

24 match, 25 wickets, economy rate: 9:50 per over! His T20I career.

Imagine... his death over economy rate....

Am I missing something? He took 4 wickets in that final for 46 runs at 4.6 rpo. It was our batting that failed us and also that Shakib got injured.

He should still play T20. Use him only in the middle overs. Don't use him after the 16th over in T20s. I still think he is a decent bowler. it's just a matter of application and nerves that he has to work on.

This is pure illusion Rifat. He has been playing for 10+ years. How long would he need to fix nerve and application capabilities?

He is a rubbish test and T20 bowler and will be.

You can't be a front line pacer, where you can only bowl 2/3 overs between 10-15

He can't bowl otherwise

Taskin I understand the thinking, he's a bang it in bowler, his execution is poor, but method is right for his style, short back him up, and get them timid, he often didn't back himself and bowled in no man's land, he needed to go shorter when he did go short

Rubel, he's not even that type of bowler, he is someone who should bowl length+, length being his shortest, all he should focus on should be length, slower and yorker

Definitely try rony
