Since you knew that you would be missing out on a great number of good fast bowlers, why did you make a poll? You made similar polls before too, which was criticized by several other members.

On Topic:

My choice will be Wasim Akram. Imho he is the greatest left-armer of all time, and a unique match-winner any world class team would die to have in their bank. I'm yet to come across a bowler whose accuracy and reverse swing at the death overs make it worth waiting the 3 hours that lead to them. Other than him, I have a lot of respect for McGrath.

carte_blanche.....

i am not a cricket expert or analyst....most of the people here are not experts too......so does it take away their right to post in threads and make poll?? why should i be any different? your comments are rather unjust....

in case you havent noticed, other members often get criticized not just me.....people have different perspective which leads to arguements.....this time i took great care in putting players name that deserves to fall under the category of best fast bowler....cant do any better than that...

i am just a spectator and sometime take a few swing of the bat if get any chance....

not someone who keeps track of every single player and their achievements....

which is why i explicitly said that post any players name that i am missing out on....

Nobody took away your rights. No need to play victim here. Post all you like. Just don't be surprised if anyone is tired of polls that have Imran Khan and J Gillespie in the same tier and contemporaries, Nazmul Hussein as a probably all-time favourite, H M Ershad as greatest leader etc. It's a personal opinion only. Ignore it if it irks you. I can return the favour.

I rest my case.

As you have included both retired and current players it is confusing to choose.Courtney Walsh(not on your list) without a doubt.

But yeah, looking at your list and for the sake of the poll, it would have to be Wasim Akram.

Restructuring the Poll:

Add R Hadlee and delete out everyone else.
