coming back to the streaming......i'm all for paying if the streaming is good...and i'm sure even if BDLive starts to charge (provided the amount is not huge)...a lot of us would happy pay for the service....

and my thanks to dilmatv.com ....i'm definitely buying the whole package tomorrow.

so.. does anyone know IF Channel S is showing the game? any news?

points of interest for some:

1) sportingstreams. if Channel S shows the games, then i am pretty sure u can watch it on sportingstreams

2) winamp. Links have been available on WINAMP for lots of games lately. including IND v. PAK and the VB Series.. so there is a possibility of finding a link for BD v. SL.

3) sinhala tv. this channel has showed some SL games before.. and there is a live link available on WINAMP for this channel.

yeh honestly......Banglacricket ought to set something up......maybe a non-profit internet Television channel solely dedicated to broatcasting BD matches live. Money in the hands of Banladeshis for a product made in Bangladesh.
The following is based just my personal assumption:

1. All Bangla Cricket Admin people are volunteers and they invest their personal time to maintain this site. Paid Broadcasting requires a huge amount of work and dedicated work hours which can not be done with a pool of volunteers. When it comes to taking money from people for professional broadcasting, BanglaCricket will never do this based on its volunteer administration structure.

2. If Bangla Cricket arranges its own broadcasting, they will arrange it in a legal way, paying proper dues to the original broadcaster. In that case, prices will be higher.

3. Mass broadcasting provides the benefit of economy of scale. Other broadcasters can achieve this because they have a large customer base of cricket-fans of all nations. So, if BanglaCricket goes for a broadcasting arrangement based on just Bangladesh Matches, they will not gain any economy of scale. But their initial investment on fixed asset will be almost same. Due to the lack of economy of scale, cost per person will be even higher.

I think BanglaCricket Admin has many other reasons for not doing a Paid-Broadcasting. But just the above 3 reasons are good enough to put an end to the discussion of the possibility of any BanglaCricket Broadcasting.

I hate Salman Khan, but he did say one important thing:
"Just Chill, Chill.....Just Chill"

Thanks for the lecture notes. Sorry I couldn't attend class.

How come bdlive isn't responding to all of this. Does that mean they won't show it?
If they do, as some people are saying that they will, then please reply.

We are planing to stream the following BD matches:

Sri Lanka tour of Bangladesh (already on sale)

Australia vs Bangladesh (Staring Sun Apr 09)

Bangladesh vs New Zealand (Starting on Dec of this year)

and all other BD matches which are shown on Dish or Direct TV.

SO Cheers!

Dilmatv, you have mentioned that you guys will broadcast any game that is on Dish or Directv, BUT directv is not showing this tour. Dish network is also NOT!

Then how you are streaming this game? from which channel?

Answer to this question might help lot of us to buy it from you eventually.

It's really disappointing that you could not provide live coverage from the begining of the match. Now the question is why didnt you start the the negotiatin well before the match? Why your company left everything for the eleventh hour? This is not professionalism. You took money from the users so you should be aware about the situation and you could try to get the right of telecasting few days before the match. Why did you delay? You kept your user in dark where everyone was expecting something nice from you.

As a user anybody can ask for a compensationa, I know you are going to broadcast the remaining matches but can you provide the highlights of the match in your website?

Let us know.

Thanks.
