I have a wish for the second test.
Someone in the top 4 making a half century and having a century partnership with another player. Ash restraining himself. K Masud get some runs and continue to stay at the wicket. Bye bye Al*k. See Mushfiq bat.

My gut feeling.... not too much to ask. Just give musfiq some chance beyond thsi series.... he will do it sooner than later (even though it may not be in the next game).

if ash scores a century or back to back 50s or a 70+ followed by 30+, i think it would be safe to say he has arrived.

Ya I would rather see him score two 70s than one 140s and 0

A draw, a well-fought, no-rain, scare the Sri-Lankan, "Jaywardene- That was close!" draw. That will do.
Is this too much to ask?
Don't answer that.

Good place to start.
The goal sould be:
Win the second test and level the series. Nothing less.

One more century from any of BD players, that may make 2nd test close again.

What should be the goal?
The Goal for 2nd TEST is already achieved.
Alok is not in the team (atleast for now).

So you are saying our goal should be:
Wrong size (over size) goal post for the opponent and Right size goal post for us to defend? I would say why undersized goal post for us?

Realistic goal: not lose the match
but in the 'likely' event of BD losing once more (which is bound to happen), they should at least avoid innings + 3 or 4 day defeat.... I'd like to see them realise there is such a thing called 'day 5'
