Default Fatullah got ICC approval as an international venue

BCCB media release

Fatullah Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium at Naraynganj got approved as Bangladesh's sixth international cricket venue. The last two matches of the upcoming ODI series with Kenya will be played here. The stadium is known for its bouncy tracks

Just on ntv news, I heard that Fotullah stadium got the nod for both ODI and Test cricket.

Is the stadium only for cricket or the football matches will be arranged there as well ???

Daily Star said Fatullah now can be also considered as a Test venue.

Fatullah is a cricket only stadium.

Political Importance you say, well thats how everything works in BD. Really dont care where the stadiums are made....

InshAllah we'll be able to bid for a WC in BD soon.... (but the irony is that internationally Bangladesh lacks the political importance so it'll be a while b4 ICC let us host a WC)

As far i remember the capacity is around 10 thousand with very good grassy hard wickets! Very nice pitches for the Aussie attack!
