This stadium have some impressive records of runs:

438-9 South Africa v Australia
434-4 Australia v South Africa
359-2 Australia v India
310-8 Australia v Pakistan
310-6 South Africa v West Indies
306-6 South Africa v New Zealand
304-2 West Indies v South Africa
301-7 South Africa v Zimbabwe
292-6 India v Sri Lanka
280-4 South Africa v India
279-5 India v South Africa
266-5 South Africa v Pakistan
266-8 South Africa v Sri Lanka
259-6 South Africa v Zimbabwe
258-7 Australia v South Africa
256-8 Zimbabwe v South Africa
250-8 South Africa v Australia

But not always it produced very big scores. Just last year against England SA scored 175/9 in 50 overs.

See some of the low scores as well:

109 Pakistan v South Africa
109 Sri Lanka v India
111 England v South Africa
128 Sri Lanka v South Africa
136 Zimbabwe v South Africa
149 South Africa v England

Interestingly enough the first three ODI played in that ground failed to produce even 200 runs in any innings.

In total 27 ODI played in that ground.

Unfortunatly BD's only game in that stadium was against Kenya and scored 185 on the way to lose the match by 32 runs.

lolz....Why do u worry..?? have u forgotten the match between BD Vs Eng..??? When they Made 392...?? wwas it looking Impossible as long as Ashraful was there?? No it wasn't.....

And Rememebr SA and Aus both team consist of human players like us....no different ! So why do u worry?? If Aus and SA can do that.....We can do that too..and we should think furthar more.....

If Australia can make 434 and SA 438 then Bangladesh should target 450. Because...Now they can see Nothing is Impossible in Cricket !

what a great game!!!

93 in one 434 in another and 400+ 2 times and winning chasing...simply unbelievable.

this blows saeed anwar's 194 outta the water as that has been approached a number of times (tendy, dhoni, jaya)...but 400 by both teams, never before.

Well the Aussies lost the record in the same match.

I am sure the Aussies would at least want the recrod back, no matter whom they achieve it against. And they are coming to Bangladesh !

The aussies highest score against Bangladesh is only 254 in all the nine ODIs. I don't think they can post even 300 in the coiming series if we still have Mashrafee, Rajib, Rasel and Rafique free from injury.

At that particular day, SA bowled poorly, as a result Aus trashed them. Honestly, if it was BD instead of Aus, they probably would have scored 270+. I think Aus will never score that much against BD, b/c BD's bowling is one of the best in the world. Jus think back and tell me how many times, we have conceded 300+. So, nothing to panic about. I think, all the ODI matches will be closely faught.

Jus cheer up guys, don't be scared. Have faith in our bowling line-up.
