So finally the D-Day has arrived.

All the information are already gathered. All the preparation that I could have taken, is taken care of (I guess). I am heading for Toronto tonight. Driving all the way from Virgina to Toronto with a SUV full of stuffs. Its 560 (approx) miles trip one way and I am guessing it will take 9/10 hours.

I go there in advance, pick up the apartment keys, unload the stuff from my car. Arrange the apartment a lit-bit, take some rest, and then go to the airport in Friday night. Pick them , ask my in-law to work for his money (i.e. atleast help me picking up the 8+ luggages), arrange a taxi to take rest of the luggage and ask my in-law to hop-in the taxi and follow me. Boy that would be the fun ... just imagining the reaction of my in-law.

Any way I plan to stay in Toronto upto Monday afternoon to help them out further and scaring my in-law futher with all those what-if scenarios about their unknown future. Who knows what will be the outcome? a) I can either motivate him a little bit more to be more pro-active; b) or I can trigger his heart attack; c) or the worst possible case, create no reaction at all as he will take my attempt as a sign that we are seriously thinking about them therefore everything will be taken care of and no need for hime to worry any further.

That will be the end of my job assigned by my mom. Next week, my brother will stay one-week to help them out with other stuffs. Now my brother is a no nonsense kind of guy. He and my in-law is like water and oil, never mix together. That will be the 2nd interesting part of the whole deal.

Anyway, the sad part is, it looks like I am going to miss atleast two bangladesh-kenya ODI games. Thats a bummer. Beacuse my boys Sakib and Co. is going to play and I am going to miss it.

Anyway thank you guys... who particiapted in this discussion and gave me information and courrage. At first I thought its a Mission Impossible kind of assignment. But now I am more confident, I think its still a tough by doable assignment.

Have a safe trip. I guess there is no way out but to go by Washington and Pittsburg. Make sure you avoid rush hour and listen to local traffic radio around those two cities. Make sure your in-law taste the Junk food first. And don't speed and get a ticket. Not good for Govt officials getting a citation.

By any chance, is your in-law named JO?
I see similar hopeles expression when you talk about JO and your in-law.

Have a safe trip and come back to BC ASAP.
You only play good cricket when you win/draw matches.
