Default a prayer request

for those who believe in the power of prayer and the presense of a merciful diety:

please pray for the mother of one of my dear friends. she is in the hospital on a respirator. her heart basically failed and her pacemaker didnt kick in. she is only in her mid-40s.

thank you very much.

thank you all very much...my friend would greatly appreciate your thoughts and dua.

sadly, early this morning (US time) she passed.

to add the tragedy, her mother (presumably due to shock) had a heart attack, and is now in surgery.
please keep them both in your prayers, as well as the family, a widowed husband, and 3 motherless children ages 24, 15, and 13

inna lillahi wa inna ialaihi rajioon

First, Inna lillahi wa inna ilahi rajiun. May her soul rest in peace.
Second, May Allah give the family the strength to recover from the loss.
Third, May Allah help the Grandma recover.

nani is old...but not that old, early to mid 60s...but she has diabetes, hypertension, and 3 blockages of the coronary arteries. she was supposed to undergo surgery, and the doc said that it might not help given her many ailments. this in turn caused my friend's mother a lot of stress as well as neglect of her own health, which we believe caused her demise.

my friend's mother was only 42, and though her case is quite rare, poignantly proves that life can end at any age.

We belong to Him and unto Him we return.

LAST BREATH
Oh Mark the words that I do say
Who knows tomorrow could be your day
At last it comes; to Heaven or Hell
Decide which now, do not delay
Come on my brothers, let us pray
Decide which now, do not delay.
