Hey, didn't get to vote, how come?

"I will go for ZIM... coz the contest is far more even.. and because ZIMs hav had good number of success in beating stronger teams, so beating the ZIMs giv BD some usefull moral credit and ranking points as well. "

I would go for Ken. Bcause after Heath Streak, Sean Ervine, Flower brothers and the rest of the strong Zimbabwe line up is gone, Zimbabwe is not the same team that it was.

However, Kenya have no major change in their line up to speak of, and they still have the core players that beat the West Indies in the '96 World Cup, given a decade has passed.

OPS... sorry fw....

This is actually an old thread (look at the starting date of the thread). So people who already voted in it at that time... can't vote anymore. I just bounced this thread back since Kenya is in BD now and we got number of new members who might like to vote.

Unfortunately I suspect its still Panta Bhat. Except that there will be some piaz, kacha morich and bashi Dal with that. I mean we will continue to fight against ZIM , defending our Shomman Jonok 9th Position, and thereby creating and maintaing and a new rivalty of our own.

I am more optimistic than Tigers_eye, my next target is England and WI. I am ready to wait till December 2008.

Id like us to beat the English for historical reasons, i would have Pakistan after that but that has already been achieved.

but it seems like our current rival is Zimbabwe and will be for a while, Kenya on the other hand dont worry me any more.

As long as we are not that proverbial dog that chases its own tail, I am happy. The breed of the dog (Brit, Carribean or something else) does not bother me as long as there is a tail to chase.

It is just matter of time to catch WI. We need to wait until Bashar, Pilot retires from our side and Lara, Gayle retire from their side. Then it will be a regular affair to beat WI.
No day dreaming. These four will be retiring and it will happen for sure.

did see Taylor's 142 km mile bowling, WI got so much pace with OB, that we can't play. So, no way that will happen soon.

taylor is fast, but MAshrafe also bowls at 135-140 consistantly, and our batsmen have enough talent to play them.
