An individual performance (Gayle, Chanders) can win WI a game or two but they are a crap team.

15 wides and noballs. 2.5 extra overs. Very uncharacteristic. I am loving it. WI in driving seat. 34/1. Kallis in 15, Gibbs 10. Rain relay. Advantage will be going to SA.

WI bowling is very weak at the moment but still they showed that they can atleast bat even without their star players.

Isn't Bravo a bolwing allrounder?

Why didnt he bowl in the ODI series?

And why is he playing for if he doesnt bowl? He's not a good batsman.

And why is he captaining the side?

Stupid WI board. They could have played another bowler in place of Bravo. And their they have to change their openers.

Where's Collymore and Collins or whatever? They were good bowlers.

The problem is the whole team is heavily depended on Gayle. Except Chanderpaul as nothing can stop him from performing. The only positive is WI still can bat and score high against top level bowling.

As for Nel and Sammy, they both would be happy to wipe this match off from their favourite list.

Bishop, Haynes, Roberts and Walsh dropped from WICB committee

February 3, 2008

Four legends of West Indies cricket have been dropped from the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) cricket committee and are at a loss to know why.
Ian Bishop, Desmond Haynes, Andy Roberts and Courtney Walsh, a quartet with 338 Tests between them, were notified of their removal from the committee by an e-mailed letter from WICB president Julian Hunte last week.
