shahadat is 6-3, so at least 2 inches (5.08 cm shorter) than prasad. i think ishant is correctly billed at 6-4. symods is prolly 6-1 just massively built like ray lewis. munaf is 6-2 or 6-3.
I don't how tall Prasad is, but it looks like Sharma's a good two inches taller than him:

Looks like Ishant's growing in confidence day by day. Exchanging a few words with the batsman now and then isn't a bad idea really. I hope he can stick around and continue improving - he certainly has a bright future if he can keep up the good work.

As long as he doesn't start acting like a certain idiot in the team...

He has certainly changed from the last time he has toured Bangladesh. At that time he seemed like an average bowler to me . But now, he is maturing and growing in confidence every single day. Espcially he is turning the heat on Australia ! Its because of him that Australia lost, BTW !

I highly doubt that - I mean Tait has reached 99 mph, 160 kph , hmmm, but he was 24 when he did it.

Can someone say how quick Shoaib Akhtar was when he was 19?

my what a turn around. great prospect. but he's already been hurt, out for 2 tests against SA.

He will bowl fast, then break down because his body is too stickly and not designed for it then bowler slower

maybe thats what shahadat does...which is why he and mash don't get hurt to often. i think thats what rasel does as well...i mean how else can a 6 foot tall man only bowl 75 mph at top speed???

With Shahadat it could be he puts so much effort into his bowling that it loses its fluidity

Against Australia, in one of his spells, Sharma was bowling around 150-155k, that is a good 10k higher Shahadat, however Ishant bowls on average around 138-140k, where as our Shahadat is around 133-135k average

ishant's average is higher than that...rajib averages 130-140, sharma around 140-145 i'd say. but his ceiling has thus far been higher, hitting 152.6 k as a max i believe. the quickest i've seen rajib bowl is 142.8 against india in T1 at the CDS. 155k is shoaib/lee range only. and even they can't do it now.

Why compare with Tait? We saw what happened to Tait in Perth, he is a goner.

I saw him bowling at 149-150 in the 3rd/4th Test. Atleast 2 delieveries in that over were over 145k.
