Thanks and I'm sure you all who are criticizing Ash have a point & intention is definitely good. Lets see what he does in the next test. he needs to perform & perform as soon as possible.

He is appointed captain untill December I think. Hope he will bring some glory for all of us within that time. He has become much more consistent in the ODIs, now he needs to focus on tests. I'm confident that he will make it, lets just have patience. It's easy to remove a player but extremely difficult to fill up that vaccum. It's not about head count, many things goes and comes with the change of an experienced player.

Stats says it all. 123 runs in 5 Tests. Shahriar Nafees and Aftab has better average than him as well. I have to conclude that performance wise Ashraful does not deserve to be in the test team.

Thanks to Tintin and Fazal

There's no competition, Vettori and Ashraful complement each other (as Hunter/Hunted)

Exactly what was on my mind to type when I saw the title of this thread.. They can't be compared at all.. And it's not even as if Vettori's really, really good.. (His pre-decessor was much better) but it's that he relished the role given to him and grasped it with both hands..

When Ash got the captaincy, I never thought it was a good idea.. He should have been left alone to focus on his batting.. But alas, what's happened has happened..
It's not the coach's fault, nor is it the fault of the lack of the players' talents.. It's the attitude..
