Default Nazmul Hossain

I really really like this guy. He seems like another Mash to me. He doesn't have great pace but he bowls in the right areas and can swing the ball a bit. He was also pretty impressive in Australia. I would like to see Mashrafe, Nazmul, and Rubel to be our pace attack. Also I really like having both Riyad and Naeem in the squad. They can both be useful with the bat and ball.

Yep, all of them have shown distinct promise, and they should be given chances regularly!

Please dont forget about Rasel, I hope that he recovers from his injury, he can at least be in the 20/20 squad in England.

If the conditions don't suit him, he's a worthless bowler.

well one match dn't decide everything...it wud be very nice if he can continue to improve and perform like this..BCB needs to give him a fair amount of chance..our players only have access to national team resources when they are part of the team...so if he's not part of the team champaka can't work with him..is that how is works??? i'm very curious how this works..cause rajib needs help right now desparetly but at the moment he is out of the ODI squad..so does that mean champaka is not allowed to work with him??

He is definitely good prospect for us just look at his pitching up the balls and slight movement the best the could be. If he can stay for a while with national team he will surely give us some more good moments. These lads: Nazmul, Rubel, Robin they need sometime and experiences thats all. No one become Wasim or MCcgrath in overnight

it took about 6 years for him to show a descent performance. hope we can see more of this type of bowling from him. it will be sweet if he can cement his place in BD odi team. the pitch of the last match was bowling friendly, hope he will learn how to bowl efficiently in usual odi wicket.

No, It's not about the squad, i think they train all the players who are in contract for that particular year or so, something like that!

He bowled well in Australia, but he is so one-dimensional, he bowls good line and back of a length.

but I havent seen him swing both ways, or significant seam movement, slower balls.

He's hardly new, as sports_fan_bd alluded to, he has been around for a while. He did well for the A team in England last year too. The trouble is this is his best performance for BD so far, in the other games he's played (and he's played a fair few) he has been poor. Hopefully this improvement will continue...

I don't think anyone suggested he should...My point is he is not new.

He's been around for a while (regardless of his age), he's played 22 ODIs for example: http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/bdesh...yer/56056.html More than most people realise...

I think Nazmul's natural talent and physical abilities are much more limited than other quickies of BD. I would love the surprise if he becomes a success with fast bowling. Nazmul should stay with an accurate, swinging medium-fast range and practice hard.
