reading on another forum that some reckon that the current u19 BD new ball bowler (i'm guessing they mean abul hasan) looks quite good and someone even said one of the openers looks to be bowling around 82mph. good things were said about the keeper as well and in general they think the current u19 team is a good batch of players. fingers crossed it is a good group and that they'll help to improve the domestic standard.

We need time for our National team. I am optimistic for this U19 result.

sure, he was a big hitter - he would sky things up to the heavens, only to find the ball drop back right in front of him and be caught by the bowler or an in fielder.

In other words Rokon was perfected by Aftab and Ash.

I sure hope that none of these guys get goaded into the senior side before they're ready, and find themselves discarded by 25. They're playing other U-19 sides from systems who intend to develop these guys through prolonged exposure to quality FC cricket and A Team tours before being considered. That's the norm with very few exceptions. Guys like Michael Clarke or Parnell are exceptional players from systems that can tell the difference.

We need to pay attention to the HUGE gap that exists between the U19 and the highest levels, and build on U19 success with that fact in mind.
Not trying to be a killjoy here ...
