Yea, Chacha was one of the few guys in BD cricket who dont want to give up at all. And maybe he passed some of his grit to the players. But as someone said, we played well, but was not our biggest test, I would love to see a similiar performance in New zealand this november{im not sure about the date}

I still remember when this guy (dead Australian) said Ausies could finish the test match in a day. And Chacha was asked... he stood up with chest high and said we are here to WIN!!!!

What's cooking Miraz? You are awefully quiet for the last few months. Is something big brewing in the horizon?

Today Athar was mentioning about his contribution. I hope he stays with the team until World Cup 2011.

Team looses, everyone credits the coach. Team wins, everyone credits the assistant coach.

The team is playing so confidently day by day... it has to be those wins. But the underlying factor is definitely the leadership. Now we know Shakib's role in the field. And some people also acknowledged Siddon's role how we are slowly getting the benefit of his coaching. The other factor is, as Miraj mentioned, the role of ChaCha.

I think all three has some role and contribution (of different level) for this sudden change of team's behavior and the maturity how they do their individual role in a master game plan.

We also knew that that was a communication gap between captain/players and coach and players were not following coach's game plan in the field. Now suddenly they all changed. In my opinion its partially due to change in captaincy, and a partially adding a local assistant coach like Chacha to solve the communication gap.

So yes I acknowledge ChaCha's contribution in this team's transformation from a looser mentality to a winner mentality and playing with a purpose.

He has definitely help them somehow. There was a big communication gap between JS and Players and looks like he has helped overcome this problem. It is still early days.

He might have a hand in this along with coach and other staffs.

But I think its all because we don't depend on a single player anymore. Shakib has matured himself well as an allrounder. He is a dependable batsman in the middle order. Tamim also becoming a bit dependable. Then we have Riyad, Raqib & Naeem. All are perfoming in the late order.

Team no longer feel pressure of scoring freely. They know if they get out next batsman will take over it. No pressure = no bad cricket.

Add to that..there are more competitions in the team now than it was before. We never had this thing in our team ever!

Ather said not only siddon we should also mention his assistant coach for doing a fantastic job. he is the one who gave the players believe that we can do it. yes siddon did his part but shujon is also instrumental here... (some thing along this lines...)
