The Most Physically Demanding Sport in the World
Personally, I think Sumo Wrestling.
.
..
...
Boxing also. It's difficult for a boxer to maintain that weight to stay in a weight division. Heavyweights are in a league of their own.

Would Tri-athlon be considered as sports?

Triathlon is the most physically demanding.
In terms of the more popular sports.
Boxing > Football (Soccer)> Tennis > Basketball > American Football > Cricket > Baseball.
