The Argentine defense held strong and probably the main reason Argentina got away with 3 points. Could have been 1 OR 0. It was probably the best match so far and Drogba lived up to his name.

argentina hadthe 2nd goal from offside but then that header from corner should have been called a goal as it crossed the line. so it evens out. but why argentina didnt try tevez is a question, saviola looked ok but he was wrestled out of the ball too often. also both the strikers were replaced by midfielders in the 2nd half and argentina had none forward, thats when ivory costa came back with the goal. if u play defensive, your opponent will score sooner or later. also where is messi??

Crespo was offside but he wasn't apart of the play since Saviola was onside and was the one who scored the goal. It was a very entertaining match it could of easily ended 5-4. Drogba played very well as did Riquelme. Ivory Coast IMO can get to the second round. It depends if 4 points would be enough? Don't know if they could get 6 in this group

6 will be tough with Netherlands playing close to home and being in great form. Plus, do we know if Ivory Coast plays consistently allthe time or are they like their predecesors - Fireworks in one match and 0-3 in the next?
