Ideally
Tamim
Anamul
Hom ( I know he is in terrible form but for the long term wise he can be here)
Mushfiq
Shakib
Riyad
Nasir
Razzak/Sunny
Nazmul/Shafiul
Rubel
I dont have no one in mind for no 11 at this moment. But one thing Im sure of is that we don't need Kayes, Nafees or Naeem or Junaid, Raquibul, Ashraful anywhere near ODI.
Out of these, Naeem Junaid or Ash could be considered for tests only.

Ash can be useful only in T20, and Naeem in tests. Junaid could not even score against the WI-A team!

fair point.
NOBODY is really to blame when we have really few few players of true class ready to take on international bullies.....
What can you do when all our openers are really out of form or not there! Selecting cricketers for Bangladesh to be fair to them, is probably one of the toughest jobs in the world, because rarely you get things 100% right in the sense that the 11 players you select, each and every one of them plays their part right, and that rarely happens because if it did, Bangladesh would have been winning right now!

I'll have to agree with this. I would be much more comfortable bringing him in after he's scored a bunch of runs in OD cricket against tough opposition (A and academy teams). Then again, I haven't seen him bat (other than a couple of short clips against Eng U-19).

As nebulous may be the term, I'd rather want Tamim and Kayes to open and play their 'natural' game. How the hell do you fight? Swivel your hip and pivot leg and then at a 30 degree angel eject a punch? Scaffolding must disappear at the battleground. Do not overthink. P-l-a-y. Stress hinders activity. Enjoy your game. Play for your country BUT ALSO FOR YOURSELF. We pride ourselves in being 'first Bangladeshi' to do this and that, but why not "FIRST HUMAN" period.

I know it is a dead rubber, but I'll go to sleep early and wake up for the match. I might be setting myself up, but I'll be hoping for a different result this time.

Tamim has to find a way to play Mohammed Hafeez . He bowls that tight middle stump line which is hard to get away , but for a Batsman of Tamims Calibre it should be peanuts . We just cant allow this Hafeez mofeez to settle and dominate us in the first ten overs .

Just let his overs past quitely. Keep his wicket in hand. Go for runs against other bowlers.

My team for third ODI :
1. genuine Opener (Tamim)
2. genuine Opener (Imrul)
3. genuine batsman. (Ashraful)
4. genuine batsman (Rokibul)
5. Spinning Allrounder (Shakib)
6. Wicket Keeper (Mushy)
7. Spinning Allrounder (Nasir)
8. Spinning Allrounder (Mahmudullah)
9. Pace allrounder (Forhad Reza )
10. Pacer (Rubel)
11. Pacer. (Shafiul / Nazmul)
so here is the team, anybody likes it or not, thats the only solution BD team got I think.

Ashraful is not a genuine batsman rather a batting allrounder. did you forget him bowling 'aguner gola' and dancing with mamtaj's nantu ghotok :p

It will be a tough job for our selectors to make the batting order for this match.Really its a tough job to select some one from all the failed guy. They need to stick with selected guys.Need to stop this too many changing game.Though Imrul is a proven edgy player but still he deserve full series as he had a very good 2010 with the bat.I did not like the idea of dropping him in the 1st ODI followed by recalling him in the 2nd.This type on and off matches will break his confidence.

Looking at our poor performance at SAFF Football and our cricketers rigorous football training, i request all to switch the players.

^^seems like our practice sessions are all about football,
this is the reason why Sakib is our best performer.

Imrul Kayes is set to miss out due to a groin injury, and will be replaced by Alok Kapali or Naeem Islam

It was a light hearted joke! For a start with shakib, mushfiq & imrul (circa 2010) in the side, its a bit harsh to say tamim & nasir are our best Batsmen.
Sorry zunaid if I caused offence. I actually agree with a previous poster, who cares where they are "from' they play for Bangladesh. That's all that counts. In fact, if my history is correct, Nehru was Kashmiri (pakistani) & Jinnah (the founder of Pakistan) was from Bombay! This stuff is irrelevant...
