Come on guys! College football's starting and no thread yet? Where are all the football buffs at? Well getting ready for another average season with the Cuse but I'm always hopeful!

Share the same views with you as well. They're always so overrated and tired of how they're always talked about as a championship contender when they just suck.

ACC added Notre Dame in their conference today in all sports except Football. Huge lost for Big East Basketball. Pitt, Syracuse, West Virginia now Notre Dame all major programs leaving behind Big East. Even without these 4 teams Big East is a still a pretty strong division in Basketball, but Big East Championship at Madison Square Garden just won't be the same.

Ya it's unfortunate but it's the way college sports is heading right now. Money talks in the end

Some serious debates will take place when ND football team gets selected for a better bowl game with a 7-5 season record, over an ACC team with 9-3 season record.

It'll happen unfortunately since ND has the bigger name appeal. It sucks but it's just the way it is.

Notre Dame
Playing 5 games a season against ACC opponents, and still claiming to be independent. Give it 5 years before they are completely under the ACC. This is proof of the waning powers of ND - and it's only right that they stopped getting preferential treatment.
They haven't jack in 24 years...yes, 24!

I am not going to laugh at anyone. My ship sank this off season. A National Title contender now 1-2. My hogs are going down fast.

Gearing up for an exciting weekend. We got a huge game against Rutgers. Rutgers fans have been talking big but we'll see what happens on the field.
Marquee games, ND/Stanford and Oklahoma/Texas

3 teams in Top 25 for right now for Big East- Rutgers, Cincinnati and Louisville. Not bad for a barely functional football conference.

Ya not bad at all. I'm still pissed about that Cuse game. We basically gave them the game once again.
Looks like RU, Cincy, and L'ville are going to dominate while the others just make up the numbers.

Overrated Irish. Oregon should have been there. Pitt and USC didn't finish their job. O well.

Lol ND got crushed. I expected it to be a little more closer. I'm looking forward to the playoff championship they set up. It will be a lot better than just 2 team championship.
