I like how the Indian commies were saying pitch had changed and calmed down when the English were scoring runs. lol 19 wickets for England spinners. 10 from the 2nd inning.

Broad didn't even get a ball HAHA!

I like this from CI:
As for India, they might finally start agreeing that something is wrong with the side. It was not the imaginary green tops in Australia and England. The side's quality has eroded from the time they were No. 1

Funny how it hasn't been the top news CI since they got kicked in the nuts yesterday. It had been the top news on CI page 2 days before the game start. LOL. Indianinfo.com

KP won the mom. That's a shame. Monty took the game away from the Indians. ESP how "good" these guys are against spin. KP wins because he is just more popular.

Monty should have been MoM, but most of the times its always the batter who gets it.

Once again, these guys are bunch of professional athletes. They weren't gonna sit out for next couple of weeks and take it all like bunch of Indians.

I hope they come back harder in the 3rd test and give it to these big headed, big mouthed, overrated, over payed, overpowering maggots.

Big ups to AC too. Leading the team from the front. And his tactics were very unEnglish like. I mean you dont expect these no Asian teams to open with a spinner. But AC realized the condition and was flexible. That's what I like about this guy.

First there was this article

Spin: Whose 'Kryptonite' is it anyway?

Then Dravid said
Nothing wrong with turning tracks

And then this happened

England spinners humiliate India

lol India were dreaming of a 4-0 revenge so fans that always remind them of 8-0 thrashing previously will shutup about it. Almost a 100 years of International Cricket and still struggling abroad and at times at home.

Its amazing how Indian fans are comparing a player like Poojara to Dravid. I pretty much doubt he will be able to bat well away as he does at home. Sachin needs to go instead of going after more personal glory.

And to think Dhoni was crying for a spinner's paradise for this match. Did India actually think England was just going to bend down and continue to take a butt whooping the way India did in England and Australia? Sure feels like Indian fans thought this way and so did the players. England might be weak away from home but they are a very professional side and it was obvious they would come back much harder and that's exactly what happened. India thought Ashwin, Ojha, and Harbhajan would outplay Panesar and Swann. India's spinners are not at the level of Pakistan and we saw that this match.

If only we could prepare such pitches so it gives us a great chance of winning.

Well it makes it more embarrassing that they lost to a team that will soil their pants when they see the ball turn...in their own backyard

Well BCCI didn't or couldn't heed the warning calls of 0-8. Just like Australia were pretty mediocre until recently after the retirements of McGrath, Warne, Hayden, Langer, Gillespie and Gilchrist...India are in a rebuilding phase. Sehfag is past his prime. Even on flat home tracks he will be a shadow of what he once was, overseas he'll be a sitting duck. Can Pujara and Kohli and Rahane hold up like their illustrious predecessors? It remains to be seen. Zaheer is past his prime, Bhajji is the bowling version of Sehfag, Ishant is Shahadat more or less, Yadav will have to be healthy and control his line and length. Ashwin and Ojha are good, but maybe Swann and Panesar showed them they have a long ways to go.

Default Call for rank turners 'immoral' - Eden Gardens curator

Quote:
"Why does Dhoni want a square turner on the first day? Then why are you selling tickets for five days? It's immoral," Mukherjee told CNN-IBN. Mukherjee said he didn't like the way the whole issue was handled. "I have not resigned but asked for a month's leave," he said. "I am not loving this atmosphere and not happy that the Cricket Association of Bengal did not support me."
MORE

Dada got a genuine point there, purely economical.. And it's really hard for most people from WB to do things which aren't cost effective; "If you make a pitch for 3 days, why you sell tickets for 5 days"......... Epic ...

This bitch! lol I can just see his sore *** just dropping everything and crying himself home. (LOL it's hilarious picturing a snobby dude walking away with his quick "gusha" steps)

What BCCI gotta realize is even if there is day 5 doesn't mean people will show up to see it. People want to see all possible results. If I know it's a draw from day 3 and there is no possibility in hell that it won't be, why would I or anyone with brains would want to spend money on that show?

This is a classic case of Bellywood. Quality not quality.

They are making it sound as if they lost because of the pitch. They didn't lose the last game because of the pitch. If England somehow manages to win this series, or even draw it. I can't even begin to imagine what that will lead to.

So far Its good going, if India face Pakistan with a test series loss at home, things will be in balance. India has to proove them for being WC champ next, will be great contest against Pak & Pom then.
